Accommodations are offered in the 10,000 square foot main lodge, hewn from local timber and offering six spacious guest rooms, each with private bath. Upstairs rooms are themed and have names like Miss Belle, Siesta, Nez Pierce and Duke's. Downstairs accommodations include the Grandma/Grandpa room.

The Meadow View house is located 16 scenic miles North East of Sandpoint, Idaho. This home is nestled at the edge of the valley with Gold Creek running through the meadow. The backdrop to this scenic picture is the beautiful Cabinet Mountain Range. From the "Meadow View House" you can watch deer, moose, elk, coyotes, the ranch cattle and horses grazing and playing in the meadow.
Bring a fishing pole and try your luck at catching native brook trout in Gold Creek. You also have unlimited trails for hiking, skiing or Mountain Biking right out your front door or take a quick stroll to the Western Pleasure Guest Ranch for horseback riding and sleigh rides.
The house itself is a eco friendly and features straw bale construction and instant on hot water. You will enjoy the houses full country kitchen, dining area and living room that is complimented by a river rock gas fireplace. The house has two baths and two bedrooms. The denim bedroom has two full beds while the master bedroom has one queen and its own gas fireplace to warm the room on those cool North Idaho evenings.

Roley and Janice are both natives of Sandpoint, ID. Janice grew up on the ranch that is now known as the Western Pleasure Guest Ranch. Janice’s Grandpa, Riley Wood, came to Sandpoint in 1940 and the family has been on the ranch since that time. Horses have always been a major part of Janice’s life. As a child she was very involved in the local 4-H program. In 1982, she married Roley, her high school sweetheart. They moved away from Sandpoint to pursue Roley’s college career. He received a degree in business administration and six years after leaving Sandpoint, they returned home.

Located on 1100 acres of summer pastures with tall pines and breathtaking views of the Selkirk and Cabinet mountain ranges is the Western Pleasure Guest Ranch. A fourth generation cattle ranch that has been operating on the same land since 1940. The ranch is located in Idaho's scenic Panhandle region, about 16 miles northeast of Sandpoint, Idaho. Roley and Janice Schoonover, and her parents, ranchers Jim and Virginia Wood, have transformed this historic ranch into one of Idaho's quality guest ranches.
