Walk to Forest Beach (one-third of a mile to beautiful very private saltwater beach), pedal to the Cape Cod bike path in minutes (ride to downtown Chatham for lunch!), or walk to a brand new public tennis, basketball, and climbing wall. Dozens of golf courses, Cape Cod baseball, excellent fishing, and larger beaches within a short drive.
This updated year round vacation home offers something for everyone and sits on a private road in a quiet, residential neighborhood. House offers single story living, wide plank pine floors, with open spacious living areas and separate sleeping areas. Three of the bedrooms are on the east side of the house, with an adjoining full bath. The fourth bedroom is on the opposite side of the house, with a private en suite half bath, and there is another full bath as well as an outside shower. This design is perfect for a family and grandparent vacation, or for a group of 2 families. During the day, this house offers an open kitchen/living great room with fireplace and large center island, and a second living room with cable tv, french doors on both sides to let the breezes blow in. Small dining area seats 8, kitchen island seats 8 and outdoor patio set seats 8.
Available for rental year round. Four bedrooms and 2 1/2 baths, 1 King, 2 Queen bedrooms (1 queen with 1/2 bath en suite), three twin beds in "kids room" plus a toddler bed and pack and play crib. Plenty of space for a family vacation. Other amenities include a working fireplace, cable TV, DVD, stereo/CD player, 2 new full baths with full tub/shower, third new bath is 1/2 bath, plus a hot/cold water outdoor shower. Main floor washer and dryer, fenced patio area with gas grill (seasonally).
2 min. walk to restaurants: Box Office Cafe (coffee, breakfast, gourmet sandwiches, gourmet pizza) and Pisces- one of the most acclaimed restaurants in the area.
This is a child-friendly house equipped with a pack-and-play portable crib, high chair, games, etc. Window fans in all bedrooms, 2 air conditioners in bedrooms, beach chairs. A short drive to downtown shops and restaurants in Chatham, Orleans, or Harwichport.
