"Pompano House" This home is located 15 miles north of Clearwater and Indian Rocks Beach in New Port Richey. The attractions of Tampa, St. Petersburg, and Clearwater are just a short drive away. The Orlando amusement complex is a two hour (one way) drive, making it a possible long day trip if desired.
The rental fee includes free use of 20 foot Pontoon Boat (with 50 HP Outboard Motor), tied to the dock in your backyard. The boat may be used to cruise the canals (dolphin sightings reported by many renters.) Broadband Internet and Free Long distance (US only) are also included in your rental fee.
If you prefer, listen to the in pool waterfall while relaxing in your attached heated screened-in pool. Optionally, make the short trip to our large private gulf front beach (passes included) and enjoy the legendary gulf sunsets.
This updated, two-bedroom, two-bath home has a king bed in the master and two twins in second bedroom, with a pull out in living room. Main bath is in hall. Second bath consists of a lavatory in the second bedroom with separate attached bath containing shower and toilet. It comes with two free bikes and two fishing poles. This home has everything you need, just bring beach towels.
The picture of the boat is the one that is assigned to this house. We reserve the right to substitute a similar boat if this boat is out of service for scheduled maintenance. We maintain these boats to the highest standards and have very little problems with these boats. In the unlikely event that our mechanic verifies your boat is out of service during your stay for more than one day (and we can not substitute a spare boat), we will refund $40 per day for loss of use of the boat.

My husband & I rented this lovely home for 7 days. 9/3 -9/10. We loved having the pool right at our back door and so did our Grandkids that came to visit. The house offers everything that is mentioned and more. Having a washer and dryer after a 5 day drive from Oregon was awesome! Bill was so helpful with showing us everything about the house, boat and pool. Due to the weather we did not get to use the boat which was disappointing but that's what happens in September. We did get to see some lightening, which we loved!We did go to the private beach and saw dolphins and lots of jumping fish. I would highly recommend this rental to all looking! We will be back ! Thank you -

Our family of three plus our 9 year old boxer escaped to this GREAT HOME in New Port Richey for a fantastic 7 day vacation in the sun. The pictures portray exactly what is offered with the property. The convenience of the boat, pool, bikes, chairs, fishing poles, and washer and dryer made our ability to relax very easy. We went out in the boat to the sandbar and Anclotes Island 4 out of the 7 days - despite the painfully slow venture out and back (no wake - last canal). The water was clear and warm - and the jumping fish were very cool. We went to Crystal River to check out the manatees - oh so worth it! We got to get in the water and touch several of them - we will never forget that! We also went to Tampa and went on a free tour of the Yuegling Brewery (10 a.m. or 1 p.m.) followed by lunch at the Taco Bus (one of Guy F's Diners, Drive-ins, and Dives) ... it was unique. The Lucky Dill Deli in Palm Harbor was worth the wait for the monster sized helpings of real NY Deli food. Bill was VERY attentive and friendly and made sure that we had everything that we needed! We LOVED the quiet vacation that we enjoyed and would recommend to every family looking for an active beach escape. Thanks Arla & Tim!

RELAXING FAMILY VACATION

I booked this home in April to vacation with my son and his family and found this home to be eerything that was promised. We had two small children who were so content with the pool and that along allowed us to relax and enjoy our time. The boat was an extra bonus and we used it almost every day to fish or just go to the Sandbar for shelling. The highlight of the week was running into a family of dolphins feeding with their 3 ft baby. We visited Tarpon Springs, the beach at Gulf Harbors and found many good places to eat. Our favorite was the Mystic Fish in Palm Harbor. A short drive but oh so worth it. We enjoyed this spot so much we plan to return again next year.

We all had a wonderful time at this location. We really enjoyed boating and fishing. It was great to have the pool, fishing equipment, and the bikes. We highly recommend this house. Also, as the other review stated, we suggest visiting the Tarpon Springs Sponge Docks. It is only a short distance away.

We loved this house. It was very clean and very pet friendly. Having the pool was awesome. If you ever stay in the area visit Tarpon Springs. It was our favorite place. We would not hesitate to stay at this property again, and we hope that we get the chance to come back soon. P.S. One of our favorite things was fishing off of the dock.
