Fabulous find on the west side!

From the moment we opened the door to the cabin, we knew we'd picked the right vacation spot. The unit is bright and clean...a breath of fresh air after a few stays in dingy and a bit too "old world" Tahoe 1960's cabins. There was just enough pine accent in the kitchen and ceiling beams to remind you that you were in Tahoe, but with a modern edgy twist. I appreciated the fabulous TV and stereo and my daughter loved the open staircase leading upstairs and the dresser full of games. We found the kitchen to have everything we needed to make dinner in after a long day on the slopes, and the beds were prefectly inviting and offered a great nights sleep. We look forward to vising again the summer too!

We had a very nice stay at this cabin. It is fully equipped with anything you might need, from the fully equipped kitchen to the bathroom stocked with towels. The cabin is super close to Tahoe City and Homewood which is great and the owners are responsive and helpful. We would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a cosy stay on the West Shore.

While we struck out with the snow (who would have guessed there would be next to none at the end of December), the cabin was great. There was just the right amount of space for two adults and two kids (6 and 7). The location was great too. Easy access to Squaw, Alpine, etc. The owner was very responsive and friendly and everything was clean and organized on our arrival. We would definitely consider staying here again.

My fiance and I had a very pleasurable stay for a long weekend in October. While small, the cabin was in great shape, impeccably clean, and had absolutely everything we needed. The photos honestly do not do the place justice - we were even more impressed when we arrived in-person. The location was perfect for us as well - just a short stroll to Sunnyside, or a short car trip into Tahoe City. The owners were also very friendly and exceptionally responsive via email. We hope to stay here again and recommend it highly.

We were incredibly lucky to find this fabulous cabin for the 3.5 weeks that we needed to vacate our home during a remodel. The cabin is extremely clean, updated and well kept. A dream for allergy sufferers--no animal hair, organic and mild products used in the cabin--it was amazing. The cabin's caretaker lives down the street and offered many suggestions for local fun and supplies..she was a great resource-even when my son got sinus infection, I knew where the urgent care was located. We're trying to plan our next family visit and for me...a girl's weekend! The location is great...walking distance to beach, rated restaurants and soft serve ice cream. Great area for biking and hiking too.

We had the best experience at Tahoe. I also dreamed to stay in a small cabin like this. It is like a fairy tale. The size is perfect for our family. Kids loved it . My 5 year old thought it was a small castle:) Only wish I brought more food to cook. You definitely feel home there. will come again

We stayed for 12 days in January 2011 so really had time to explore the area and enjoy the benefits of the house. It is more spacious than it seems and gives a very pleasent feeling. The wood stove itself heats up the house. Easy winter access and very convenient for skiing Squaw, Alpine, North Star and especially Homewood is a few minutes ride away. You wont miss by choosing this one. I know I want to come back!

We arrived at the cabin and were surprised at what we saw. The pictures do not do this place justice. The simple elegance of the house made us feel right at home. A well-stocked wood pile allowed us to use the fabulous wood-burning stove every day. Our teenage boys enjoyed sleeping in the loft and having their "own space." The location of the cabin allowed easy access to Homewood Ski Resort and Tahoe City. Local restaurants, Fire Sign Cafe and Jiffy's Pizza, were wonderfully delicious! We HIGHLY recommend this cabin to everyone. We hope to make it a yearly vacation spot!
