Our cozy, classic," A"-frame cabin has been recently remodeled and comfortably accommodates up to four adults. It is located two miles south of Tahoe City on the historic west shore. Walk three short blocks to our private beach and park. We are 6 miles from Squaw Valley and 4 miles north of Homewood Ski area. The Homeowners Association property consists of three and a half acres of beautifully maintained amenities such as 850 feet of lake front footage, two piers, boat buoys, picnic facilities, volleyball court, horseshoe pits, lawn area, playground equipment, basketball court, and open space. Additionally, we are very close to neighborhood restaurants Fire Sign Café and Sunnyside Lodge for dining.

Our cabin has an open living/dining area, a small well-equipped kitchen (without dishwasher), one bathroom with shower, one bedroom with a full bed, and laundry room with a washer and dryer (linens are included). Upstairs is a loft office with a twin futon and a queen bedroom. It is well furnished with wireless internet, cable TV, stereo, CD, DVD, VCR system in the living room, a loft office, and a loft bedroom. It has a "complete heat" system by Lennox that offers unlimited hot water as well as central heating!!

Our cabin is a non-smoking property and due to family allergies, we cannot allow pets.

    • What a WONDERFUL, CHARMING cabin!!! This place is a real gem! The owners have such a great taste. Everything is arranged and decorated so nicely - it was a pleasure to stay in this beautiful, clean and modern environment. The cabin is perfect for 3 -4 adults. We loved the walking distance to the homeowners beach, the fireside cafe and the biking trail which is not far from the house. Everything was perfect - and the communication with the owners is really pleasant. We really enjoyed our stay at this "perfect" little cabin and hope that we will have the opportunity to return back soon!

    • Sweet A-frame cabin in a great location! My son and I stayed here during February ski week and had a blast. It was just the two of us so my high school age son had the upstairs all to himself and I stayed in the downstairs bedroom. The cabin is comfortably remodeled and is easy walking distance to Sunnyside and the Firesign Cafe. The street is flat to the cabin as well as the driveway which is a bonus during snowy weather. The driveway was plowed when we arrived and the street was plowed each day. My son and I agree we will stay here again.

    • The other guests have said it all! Perfect location, great neighborhood, perfectly equipped and furnished, nicely decorated; we felt at home right away. We would like to add how easy and nice it was to deal with the owners (rental agreement, availability, keys). Do not hesitate: it is a prefect place for a small family.

    • This A frame was a great spot to spend the weekend. It was so nice to find a clean, well maintained, inviting cabin for a reasonable price compared to other Tahoe rentals. The outside was beautifully landscaped too. Of course the girls particularly liked the playground at the beach and my husband and I enjoyed the view down the lake. We also hiked part of the Rubicon trail along the lake which was magnificent. Tahoe was just at it best - quiet and peaceful and the fall colors beautiful. The stay was just too short!

    • We have stayed in this A frame during winter ski season several times. It is a perfect setup. The kitchen is well organized, the entertainment center is complete and the wood stove makes for a very cozy family nest. The location is perfect for family skiing with Homewood just 3 miles south and this year Homewood has a new quad express chair and adult tix are only $33 midweek. Also Alpine and Squaw are both within 15 minutes drive from cabin. It is also close to Highway 89 and reliable snow removal so getting out from recent snowstorm was easy. If you don't ski that's ok as there is sledding at Granlibaken or get some snow shoes and head to lots of trails around. So book this Aframe, bring your food and DVD's and you'll have a great stay.

    • Very Positive, EXCELENTE! We discovered a new Lake Tahoe. We loved the area and the delightful cabin. Very well equiped, spacious and cozzy. We spent one of our best summer vacations there. Our two-year old enjoyed the private beach and its amenities. The cabin was very clean and loved the fact that had environmentally friendly cleaning products, very thoughtful. We hope to come back soon.

    • What a lovely cabin! We have stayed here twice, for Thanksgiving 2006 and Labor Day 2007, and both times it was perfect for our needs. It is always spotless and well-equipped, and the private beach park access in the summer was a big hit for our 2 year old. We hope to visit again soon!

    • What a great cabin! The owners have kept it very clean and every single amenity you need during a vacation is there. The location is conveniently located close to the private beach and the bike trail. Even though you are only a few miles away from the junction (89 meets the 25) where its busy, still this cabin will give you that serene feeling of just enjoying the comforts of nature.
