Inspired by the academy award winning movie Gosford Park, this luxury home offers the finest living experience in Colorado. In a retreat setting in the majestic Rocky Mountains, the interior spaces create an ambiance of Old England. Even after an extended stay, you may discover features in the architecture of the house and the carvings of the antique furnishings you had not noticed before. This is not a place to stay - it’s an experience to be savoured.
MAGNIFICENT VIEWS.
Located on the Robert Trent Jones, II-designed golf course and adjacent to the Gunnison National Forest, in summer or winter the views are simply breathtaking. In the summer, hiking and biking trails begin just off the property; the golf course begins where the back yard ends; and, all the other wonders of summer in the Crested Butte area are a short drive away. In the winter, sledding, Nordic skiing, and snowshoeing are out the back door; and for the alpine skier, Mount Crested Butte is 10 minutes away.
LUXURIOUS SPACES.
Four of the five bedrooms have full baths en-suite. The fifth bedroom is a bunk room that accommodates four additional guests. Adjoining the fully equipped exercise room (where the views inspire your workout!) is a bath equipped with steam and body jet shower. The fully stocked and locked wine cellar is available for adults to sample the reasonably priced wines, either with dinner or in the pub. The state of the art movie theater is an attraction for all, and the library provides a place where even Shakespeare would have been inspired to compose.
