Travelled to Indian Rocks with my wife,daughter,son in law and grand daughter for a relaxing week at our rental condo. Condo was spacious and spotless...a real pleasure to stay in with easy access to beach and pool area..very private and quiet...all guests were friendly and accomodating... We have already booked for next year and plan on being return guests for the forseeable future... A big thanks to owner Jamie who made our trip seamless ....just what a vacation should be...also a big thanks from my girls who upon opening the fridge found a complimentary bottle of chilled wine to get things started... Meghan (grandaughter) also sends out a big thank you for the new sand pail and shovel for the beach... See you next March

A Wonderful Week!

Five of us (Grandma, Grandpa, myself, my husband and our 7 year old daughter) spent a lovely seven days at Sunset Paradise. We found everything was just as Jamie described. We felt right at home from our very first day. The property was very clean and quiet. Our daughter loved swimming in the pool which was a good size, and child friendly. The people we met were friendly and respectful. We took in the beautiful sunsets from the condo balcony each evening, and watched the dolphins swim by in the mornings while we drank our coffee. The beach was a perfect escape from reality and not overly crowded. We enjoyed building sandcastles and collected many pails of shells during our walks. We made good use of the beach chairs and toys, and found beach towels that others had left for us to use. Most nights we ate in, but on the nights we didn't want to cook, Kooky Coconut was only a short walk south for burgers and ice cream. Another night we ordered in a delicious meal from Guppy's across the road. On one of our rainy days we visited the Florida Aquarium in Tampa (about a 40 minute drive away) and another day made the quick drive to John's Pass for shopping and souveneirs. We had a great week and were so pleased with everything. Looking forward to returning next year!

Wonderful in every way!

We spent eight days at the Sunset Paradise, as a last minute accommodation. My father passed away suddenly and we needed a place close to my Mom. Jamie bent over backwards to help us, in fact most of our family, with two different units at Sunset Paradise. This condo was everything we hoped for and much more! The location is ideal, with great restaurants within walking distance. The condo is clean and well equipped with everything you need for a weeks stay or more. And what a view!! The beach is clean and uncrowded, the pool heated and a great hot tub. The beds are super comfy, it is quiet, easy to rest and sleep here. We found a gazillion shells at low tide after the full moon. We did not want to leave, and cannot wait to return!! It is truly a Sunset Paradise!

The Perfect Condo for Hosting the ENTIRE family!

This review is long over due... But I wanted to commend Jamie (the owner) for making our stay memorable, easy and comfortable. We were looking for an affordable accommodation to house multiple out of town family members (two grandparents, two parents and a 9 month old) for a local funeral. This condo was ideal in location (on the beach!), space (even the baby had his own room!) and amenities (baby gear, hot tub and pool, just to name a few). Having such a open living area and beautiful views, this condo proved to be the the perfect place to have everyone gather (locals and out of towners) for family meals and celebration. Jamie did a splendid job of making sure we were well taken care of and happy. She even was able to provide additional parking for locals who were visiting. Thank you, thank you! we hope to return with more family in the coming years.

The spectacular view, amount of space and provided supplies (kitchen and beach accessories) make your condo one of the best we have visited. The small complex, with covered parking and very nicely heated pool make this a perfect spot. We spent a lot of time at the beach and in the pool. All the other guests staying at complex were very friendly to our family (including my small children). The provided beach toys and beach chairs were perfect as we traveled by plane. Jamie was very kind and a pleasure to work with. We hope to be able to vacation here again very soon!

The "FAB FIVE" high school girls' reunion weekend

We are five high school girlfriends from Riverhead, NY.,who re-connected 2 years ago in Washington, D.C. and this year in Florida. We found the perfect place to spend 5 days together in Indian Rocks Beach....to say we had a wonderful time is an under-statement! From the moment we walked into the condo and saw the spacious lay-out, the unbelievable Gulf of Mexico view, we were "in love" and felt right at home. The condo was roomy, comfortable, clean and furnished beautifully. We had everything at our fingertips both inside and outside.....gorgeous weather for sunning and walking the beach, Guppy's for dinner, ice cream at Pinky's, dough-nuts at The Lighthouse to name a few. Jamie was a pleasure to work with and responsive to our needs. Larry was onsite and helped us navigate some technical issues successfully. We go to the beach every year with our daughter and her family - usually somewhere in the Gulf. This was our first visit to St. Petersburg and we couldn't have loved it any more. The Sunset Paradise condo is absolutely perfect - the views are spectacular - it is roomy, clean and stocked with anything and everything you could ever think of for the ideal vacation spot. The undercover parking is great - the property exterior is very well maintained (pool & spa) - and the location is ideal for shopping, restaurants, etc. You will not regret making your plans to stay here - and Jamie is wonderful to work with - made everything very easy.

My family and I just returned from a week's stay. The condo is absolutely fantastic. Julie has thought of all the small things that make a rental condo great. Beach toys, chairs, a spice rack, comfy furniture, beds, and an impeccably decorated condo. We used the pool, hot tube, and BBQ as much as possible. The condo grounds are as well kept as the individual unit! The beach is fantastic and we found some of the largest shells we have ever found in our many years of Florida Beach travel. Restaurants are close and many are walking distance. Keegans, Guppy's, and The Kooky Coconut were all excellent and walkable. The Lighthouse Donuts are fantastic and only 1.5 miles South of the condo. With great weather for the week, a great complex, and a great unit..... one word comes to mind..... perfection!

This is a great condo in a great location. The rooms are spacious and comfortable and the balcony has a great view of the beach and pool area. Jamie was very accommodating with all the arrangements and checked in on us to make sure everything was ok. The pool area is very clean and tidy and the temperature of the pool is perfect. We liked all the non franchise restaurants that were within walking/short drive distance. Crabby Bills is outstanding for the prices and Guppys is great for more upscale dining. Dont miss the donuts at Lighthouse they are fantastic. Indian Rocks Beach really gives you the best of both worlds in Pinellas County. You have a great beach that doesnt get too crowded because there is limited beach access and you get that sugar fine powder sand of Clearwater and St Pete without all the craziness. There are a lot of private homes on the beach and smaller condo complexes which helps control the crowds as well. The beach goers are about 50% retirees, 30% families, 10% young couples and 10% spring breakers. The spring breakers were very well behaved and everyone on the beach was very considerate of others and friendly. 80 and sunny everyday. The sunsets were spectacular and we always made a point to be back at the condo to see them every night. One morning I got up early to watch the moon set and it was incredible as well, and I was all alone on the beach! We went to Busch Gardens one day just for a change of pace and had a great time. Make sure you allow enough time to drive across the causeway because it took about an hour to get there, and then another hour to park our car and get through the actual entrance to the park. Even though the line to get in was very long, it didnt seem that crowded inside the park and the lines for the roller coasters were only about 10-20 min long at the most. Its a great place to visit for all ages and my teenage boys had a great time. Indian Rocks Beach is in a nice location about halfway between Clearwater and St Pete so you are really close to everything, but far enough away to avoid the mass crowds and franchise commercialism. It's got that small town feel to it. If you are looking for a great family beach vacation in the Tampa Area, look no further than Indian Rocks Beach and Sunset Paradise!

We stayed the week after Christmas 2010. Had a great time!! The weather turned nice by mid-week & we were able to enjoy the beach as we had come to do. Jamie was such a pleasure to work with through the whole process-she checked in with us via email during our stay as well. The condo was well stocked with everything we would need. I cant say enough about the view. Absolutely gorgeous. Hope to return again some day. Thank you again Jamie for your hospitality!

Jamie, Thank you for sharing your home with us. We had a great time. I am still thinking about the wonderful food at Guppys. The pool was ours or the week along with the quite walks on the beach. Just returned from a week's stay at this beautiful condo. Everything was perfect! The unit is beautifully furnished and clean. Everything on the listing description was accurate. The owner, Jamie, was a pleasure to work with. So many fabulous restaurants within walking distance or a very short drive. Would definitely come back and recommend this place highly.

We all want to thank you once again for the wonderful time we had at your condo. Your place was clean and very homey. We were able to move in for the week and simply enjoy ourselves. My family and I spent two weeks this summer at Sunset Paradise, unit 14 and our stay was wonderful. The condo is comfortable, nicely furnished and the kitchen was equipped with everything this Italian mother needed. The pool area is very nice and nothing equals the gulf coast beaches and those marvelous sunsets. Icing on the cake is that the owner is accessible and very interested in her renters’ comfort. We look forward to our return next summer. It’s the ideal vacation even for us Floridians…..

We stayed in this condo 4/18-4/25. Renting was very easy, Jaimie answered all our question and helped us with any special requests. She got back with us the same day or within 24 hours. As for the condo, all the family could say when we enterred the condo was "wow". The condo is very nice, everything you need. You truly can just bring your swimsuits and towels. My wife loved the way it was decorated, she would like to buy some of the paintings. The view from the balcony was the highlight, the sliding doors open all the way and they stayed open most of our stay. We toasted the sunset each night from the balcony. Many great places to eat, many within walking distance. Morning walks on the beach were great. Will definitely come back.Thanks Again, The Wepler Family

What a wonderful vacation we had in Indian Rocks Beach, Florida. We used vrbo website to rent a condo for a week, and what a great experience it was. We rented vrbo # 73508 and the rental process was smooth & the condo accomodations were superb. I loved the beach decor in the condo and the condo was very nice and spacious. The condo balcony provided a nice view of the gulf and was a nice way for me to start my day each morning with my cup of coffee. Thank you for sharing your beautiful condo with our family, we hope to rent it again in the near future.

We have stayed at Sunset Paradise #14 for the past 4 years and wanted to share some comments. -the website is detailed and accurate -the condo is everything we thought it would be and more -Jamie is great to work with. She is prompt at getting back to me with any question we have -Jamie makes the process easy -This is a great condo, building, and grounds -we have rented for the past four years and already booked the fifth -the condo and area is awesome for families -the day we leave we are already talking about the next year when we return -the unit has everything you need including beach chairs, beach umbrellas, and tons of beach toys for the kids. We'll be back in 2010!

We had a great time in Indian Rocks Beach! The condo was even nicer than we were expecting! It had everything we needed. It was so convenient to have a kitchen with all the extras and all the little things that make traveling with kids easier. Needless to say, your place made for a carefree, relaxing stay. We appreciate the opportunity to enjoy your home. Just wanted to throw in that you have decorated it so cute, and the master bed was very comfy...we all slept like babies! We loved the pool area too. It was maintained very well, and kept clean by the guy that came in everyday. Everything was well maintained! We enjoyed all the restaurants in the area and having a grocery nearby. Anyway, thanks again for a great vacation!

"We have chosen to stay at Sunset Paradise #14, twice now and enjoyed it a great deal. The renting process was a breeze and Jamie, the owner is easy to talk with and very well-organized. She obviously cares about each family's stay. Upon arrival, everything was neat and nicely decorated. The direct gulf-front view is directly above the pool and just a stone's throw to the beach. A plus is the small complex size-- it feels more private and homey than the larger, 20-story places. This condo provides a perfect place for families with children or couples wishing to vacation together. We definitely recommend!" --

We stayed in Unit #14 at Sunset Paradise for the first 2 weeks of February 2009. We have visited Indian Rocks Beach numerous times and stayed in several other condos there including another Gulf front unit at Sunset Paradise and none were as clean, well furnished and completely equipped as unit #14. The condo has everything you'd ever need in the kitchen, comfortable furniture and even a WiFi connection. We felt relaxed and at home from our first day there. Jamie, the owner, was wonderful to deal with and showed a genuine interest in providing us with the best possible experience. It was an excellent vacation in every respect

"Our family, including myself, my husband, our 2 daughters, son-in-law, grandson and grandaughter sent 2 wonderful weeks at Unit #14, Sunset Paradise in October of 2008. The unit was extremely clean and had everything we could ask for, including in unit washer, dryer, beach chairs, beach toys, clean bedding, numerous towels, including beach towels. The view from the balcony - facing the beach was wonderful and the sunsets were breathtaking. Needless to say, this was a memorable vacation, which I will remember for a lifetime.

It was just the best vacation I have had in a LONG time the place was perfect just as described and all went very good - Thank you for having the chairs and beach stuff right there it sure helps when you come as far as we did!! With the washer and dryer right there it was easy not to have to leave a lot of towels and such. The view was fantastic, gorgeous sunsets every night, the pool beautiful, and the BBQ was put to great use by my husband and our weather was wonderful...It was a great place to spend a vacation!! You were very fast to reply and made the whole rental work well!! Looking forward to vacationing at Sunset Paradise again!!

We had a few cloudy days with some rain. On those days we went one day on a drive down to treasure island had drinks at the Don Cesar. One day we went to the dog races. On a sunny day we rented a boat from IRB for the day and went to Caladesi Island. We packed a lunch and ate at the park, Beach was magnificent. The rest of the time was spent at the pool and beach. Your condo is great and was as described. We enjoyed our stay. I did give your card to some people from Vero that we made friends with at the pool. They come over to the west coast and meet his brother from Canada every year, it was their first year at Sunset. Thanks for the use of your condo, we may be coming back next year.

We were pleased to find the condo was just as nice as it looked in the pictures. The open floor plan for the kitchen, dining, and living areas made it easy for all of us to catch up, relax, and eat together. We had a 1.5 year old who loved playing with the beach toys while parents and grandparents lounged in the beach chairs provided. The beach has a lot of seashells, so it's not the super-soft sand that you find up the road at Clearwater Beach. But who wants those crowds? We all enjoyed the pool too, which a maintenance guy cleaned very, very well each morning. When we wanted to get away, we had so many great parks and nature preserves to choose from! The library and playground is a short walk SE and a nature preserve is just a half mile walk south on Gulf, with a great playground. Sandgrass nature preserve is 30 minutes away, but the wildlife there does not disappoint! Everything was clean and well-maintained. The rooms with twin beds and a queen bed weren't as stylish as the king bedroom, but they were just as clean and comfy. The owners were very responsive when we were making our reservations. We loved the restaurants they recommended! Guppy's was our favorite for seafood, but PJs was also excellent for cheap seafood and good atmosphere (get the butter baked scallops or the wings).

Hello Jamie....We just arrived home from your lovely beach home. (rented it from the 15th-22nd) Had a great time and hope to come back...maybe in May. It was a great family time and the beach was practically ours alone. We were the only tenants for several days. Just wanted you to know how much we enjoyed it. Merry Christimas!
