Enjoy all four seasons of the Blue Ridge Mountains in our brand-new, large, exquisitely furnished, executive retreat. Located in Wintergreen Resort, which is located in beautiful (one stoplight) Nelson County, is just south of Charlottesville, Virginia. Wintergreen is the perfect mountain retreat for outdoor enthusiasts who enjoy hiking, biking, golf, tennis, skiing, and other activities, as well as those who just want to kick back and relax. Locally, there are many interesting activities, such as vineyards, shopping, fishing, kayaking, horseback riding, and sightseeing at significant historical sites.

Our spacious, 3000-plus-square-foot, luxury, vacation home is conveniently located just two-and-one-half lots (approximately 200 feet) away from the Tyro ski slope and across the street from a hiking trail. Our home has the true mountain feeling with a wonderful wooded site and some views of the ski slopes and the mountains.

This non-smoking home features:
* Upper level: two large master bedrooms with king-size beds; great room and gourmet kitchen (with breakfast bar) with soaring tongue-and-groove wood ceiling and lots of windows; wood burning fireplace and plasma TV with surround sound; private executive office with broadband internet, telephone, and printer/copier/fax machine; powder room; deck and gas grill.

* Lower level: master bedroom with queen-size bed and two additional bedrooms (one with queen bed and one with double + bunk bed) that share a full bathroom; highly functional mud room to unwind after a day on the slopes that includes a ski and snowboard stand, bench to remove your shoes or boots, plenty of hooks for your jackets and gloves, and front-loading washer and dryer; living/recreation room with an entertainment center and surround sound, and table and chairs for card games, puzzles, or using your laptop with a wireless broadband internet connection.

Overall, our well-appointed vacation house is ideal for large families or shared by several families, or as your corporate retreat. This is a fabulous home for a very reasonable price.

  • We had a family reunion at Wintergreen. Families in from all over the country. My family had the pleasure of the Wintergreen Getaway and we just loved the whole set up! We loved the location, the house and all of the amenities. The deck and the wonderful table was a perfect place to gather. The owners were a pleasure to deal with also. We hope to be back soon!

  • This house is gorgeous!! It is spacious with plenty of space for adults to relax and kids to play, and it is beautifully decorated. The weather was very nice so we enjoyed spending time on the great deck, surrounded by beautiful trees...so relaxing! The house has pretty much everything you could need during your stay so it feels very "homey". We would love to be able to come back soon. Thanks for sharing it with us!!

  • We loved our stay at this beautiful home. It had plenty of room for our two families. Our kids loved the toy closet and movies. The large kitchen table meant we could all eat together easily. The two living areas meant the kids and adults could each enjoy their own areas. The beds were very comfortable. We were able to have enough room to get everyone ready for the slopes in the large mud room. Close to the slopes too. We would love to stay again.

  • Wintergreen Getaway is great! This is our second year staying at this house. The beds are SO comfortable! The layout is great and the location to the slopes is very convenient. We stayed here with 2 other families, 6 adults and 8 kids total. Very comfortable and nice!

  • I cannot begin to tell you how wonderful our time was at Wintergreen and staying in your beautiful home! We all had the most awesome time and everyone wants to return next year and begin an annual vacation weekend in Wintergreen. There was so much to do for all ages in our family and even those like myself who were happy to hang around and cook for everyone. We loved the large table for gathering and playing games in the evening as well as all the fire wood provided to keep a warm fire going for those around the seating area. The kitchen was nicely stocked with cooking items needed. We loved the extra living area on the bottom floor for the children to have their own space and this is a must for us! The office space was also a real bonus and was of great use as well! We were very pleased with the beauty of being able to see the wonderful view because of all the windows in your home. The morning we had to leave we woke up to a fresh blanket of snow which made us all wish we could stay a little longer! We left the place almost as good as it looked when we arrived so hopefully you will be happy to have us come again! Thanks again

  • The house is large, open and beautiful. We liked being able to walk to the slopes. A warm lunch of soup and sandwiches is so much better than the cafeteria hot dogs and pizza we usually eat. The mud room was great. It was nice to have a place to store the ski's, boots, coats, etc. The beds are very comfortable. The house easily handles multiple families.
