Enjoy all four seasons of the Blue Ridge Mountains in our brand-new, large, exquisitely furnished, executive retreat. Located in Wintergreen Resort, which is located in beautiful (one stoplight) Nelson County, is just south of Charlottesville, Virginia. Wintergreen is the perfect mountain retreat for outdoor enthusiasts who enjoy hiking, biking, golf, tennis, skiing, and other activities, as well as those who just want to kick back and relax. Locally, there are many interesting activities, such as vineyards, shopping, fishing, kayaking, horseback riding, and sightseeing at significant historical sites.
Our spacious, 3000-plus-square-foot, luxury, vacation home is conveniently located just two-and-one-half lots (approximately 200 feet) away from the Tyro ski slope and across the street from a hiking trail. Our home has the true mountain feeling with a wonderful wooded site and some views of the ski slopes and the mountains.
This non-smoking home features:
* Upper level: two large master bedrooms with king-size beds; great room and gourmet kitchen (with breakfast bar) with soaring tongue-and-groove wood ceiling and lots of windows; wood burning fireplace and plasma TV with surround sound; private executive office with broadband internet, telephone, and printer/copier/fax machine; powder room; deck and gas grill.
* Lower level: master bedroom with queen-size bed and two additional bedrooms (one with queen bed and one with double + bunk bed) that share a full bathroom; highly functional mud room to unwind after a day on the slopes that includes a ski and snowboard stand, bench to remove your shoes or boots, plenty of hooks for your jackets and gloves, and front-loading washer and dryer; living/recreation room with an entertainment center and surround sound, Xbox 360 and games, and table and chairs for card games, puzzles, or using your laptop with a wireless broadband internet connection.
Overall, our well-appointed vacation house is ideal for large families or shared by several families, or as your corporate retreat. This is a fabulous home for a very reasonable price.

Grandparents, their children and grandchildren enjoyed a long weekend at "Wintergreen Getaway". The 11 of us greatly enjoyed the comfortable mountain August weather in this beautifully decorated, well-appointed home. The home was very clean & well cared for. Gina and Chris were very helpful in making our reservation and available when we had questions. The kids all loved swimming in Lake Monocan. We will definately return!

This is an annual neighborhood ski trip however, our first staying at this cabin. It was wonderful! The cabin is very roomy and met all our needs. Great location, although we needed more snow to walk to the slopes. Looking forward to staying here again. Owners were awesome to work with! Great Cabin!

Loved the house and location. Perfect for families with kids. Everyone has there own space, kids downstairs hanging out and adults upstairs. Large rooms and lots of activities in the house, movies, games...don't forget all there is to do outside too. The mudroom was perfect for coming in and getting out of ski gear, washer and dryer right there for your cold wet ski clothes. We've stayed at other homes in Wintergreen and really enjoyed this one!

This is a beautiful house, attractively and functionally furnished and very comfortable. We had 10 people staying there and it worked beautifully. The property is very well-maintained and was very clean when we arrived. They even provided us with a Christmas tree prior to our arrival. Owners were very cooperative and provided good information. We highly recommend this property, especially if you have a lot of people in your party.

Beautiful house, furnished attractively, comfortably, and functionally. Very guest friendly facility. Property is very well-maintained and was very clean upon our arrival. Owners were very helpful and provided good information. They even provided us with a Christmas tree, put in place prior to our visit. This house was perfect. In the 12 years we have been doing our annual getaway - all of us said that this was the nicest house we have ever stayed in. The ONLY thing that was missing for us was a hottub. We are thinking of trying to rent this same house again!

We've stayed at this house about 3 times and every time it gets better. Great location just off the Tyro slope and within walking distance. Great amenities! Foosball is great for unwinding or sitting by the fire watching a movie. Has a large kitchen/dining/family room so everyone can be in the same area without feeling cramped. Would definitely recommend for anyone wanting to get away for a week/weekend!

WOW! The pictures of this spectacular house do not do it justice! It is just beautiful; clean and nice decor. We had three families with young children stay for the weekend, and it was absolutely perfect!! Complete with games, toys, baby gates, high chairs and exersaucer- it was a very family friendly house. The kitchen was very well equipped and the binder with restaurants and things to do was very helpful. It was so nice to be so close to the resort... it was right around the corner! We will definitely keep this house in our vacation "musts" and highly recommend to anyone wanting a relaxing vacation close to the slopes!
