Wow is the only thing I can say. Everything was on the mark even the romantic rain. If I had had my way I would have never left. This is truly my dream when we retire. I am still speechless. You and John have truly thought out everything that anyone would need or could need.

Wow I'm still speechless. We just got back this am after spending almost 4 days at the Bee Hive. This place is amazing. Nice and cozy, I love the decorations. Very simple but with a nice touch of class. I was blown away by the amenities. Was provided with lots of towels, wash cloths, and every single kitchen utensil you could possibly need. The view's are breathtaking. Watching the sunset from the front porch swing was amazing. I even enjoyed the ride up the mountain. If you are looking for paradise this is the place. It is very clean & organized. I felt sad when it was time to say good bye. Can't wait to come back next year. Thank you Mr & Mrs. Barnes for sharing your paradise with us. God Bless you!
Owner response:We so want you to come back in Spring or Fall, when the leaves and surroundings are so perfect! Please remind us and we will give you a 10% discount.,. John and Louise

What an outstanding time we had at your cabin home! From the incredible views to the bubbling hot tub, everything was as perfect as can be. So great in fact, we would move in there in a minute! Clean, organized, decorated with loving care, what more could anyone ask for. The comfy bed, the aroma of the fire, the efficient kitchen and the solitude were just what we needed. Not only a screen porch but an open one as well meant we could gaze upon the stars or lounge around in the hot tub or just sit and stare at the surrounding mountains. Thank you so much for sharing your piece of paradise! We want to come back!!
Owner response:We want people to feel at home, therefore we spend extra money and energy in making it just so.Thanks for your kind remarks. It truly is a blessing.

We have been coming to the Bee Hive for several years now, and it has become far and away our favorite getaway. Backing up to the Cherokee National Forest, the peace and solitude it provides really can't be described. There's just nothing more relaxing and refreshing than sitting on the front porch of the Bee Hive at sundown...or seeing first light as it peaks through the trees. The cabin is always clean and well kept, providing everything you need for a comfortable stay. We love the fact that in the midst of the peace and serenity, there are so many things to see in the area. It truly is a nature-lover's paradise. When it is time to go home, we hate to leave, and we begin to look forward to our next stay. Nothin' like the Bee Hive. It's just a small taste of Heaven here on earth.
Owner response:Our favorite visitors to the Bee Hive. We love you guys!

Your cabin was so nice, clean and had everything we needed. The people in the area were so wonderful, there are things to do and see or you can just relax in the cabin. We did both. The lake was a great place to fish with our two boys and just relax. The games/cards were a nice change of the usual watching TV every night. The screened in porch was beautiful in the evenings. The cabin was truly wonderful! Thank you so much for sharing.

Our weekend was wonderful and relaxing! The cabin was modern and updated while being cozy and charming. We felt very welcome here. We absolutely loved the screened-in porch and the beautiful scenery. It had everything we need so we could just sit back and enjoy. We are most definitely going to return, hopefully soon and often!
Owner response:It is so encouraging to hear from the many who enjoy the Bee Hive. IT truly is a place for mental rest and relaxation!

The Bee Hive far exceeded our expectations. Even the video did not do it justice. It is very alluring in it's isolation, which is what we were looking for, yet close enough to go down the mountain and enjoy the quaint little town of Tellico Plains, the river, the gold panning, hiking, and fishing. We highly recommend this getaway for recharging your batteries.

LOVED IT! LOVED IT! LOVED IT! Would definitely stay there again. Would definitely reccommend it to anyone who wanted to "get away".
Owner response:We agree. The views from the Monroe County/Cherohala Skyway far and away are better than those in Gatlinburg and the Great Smokies! We welcome you back anytime!

We loved staying in this cabin. Everything was so nice and they had everything we needed. We loved the lake and enjoyed how we was far from anything else. We will definately stay again we cant wait to go back and bring friends and family. We stay in alot of cabins in the smoky MTS in Gatlinburg and this beat them by a long shot.. thanks for sharing this wonderful place with us!!

We spent our 10th anniversary here and it's been wonderful. Yes, there are things to do in the area but we never left the cabin. We kept the hot tub and front porch busy. It was better than our honeymoon in Gatlinburg!

After a hectic summer we were ready for peace and quiet. THe weather was perfect in September as was the cabin. We enjoyed hiking and actually saw a bobcat in the higher elevation. We read a lot and cooked and enjoyed the solitude

We did not have a car the whole time we were here! It is amazing the sounds you hear when there is truly peace and quiet around you. We felt like guests instead of tenants!

As one of your 'regular's we always enjoy the Bee Hive. We built a fire, played guitar, cooked, drove to the Unico Gap where it all began on the Joe Brown Highway, and got our honey at Seven Sisters!

Our first visit to the Bee Hive and we enjoyed getting acquainted with the area. There is so much history and natural beauty. The weather provided us good hiking, exploring and reading time. We had a fabulous day on the Cherohala and a hike in the Joyce Kilmer National Forest. What a treasure Tellico Plains has in the Charles Hall Museum and the Tellico Grains Bakery is a MUST

WE REALLY LOVED THIS CABIN. IT WAS VERY WELL DECORATED AND HAD MORE UTENSILS AND DISHES THAN WE NEEDED. WE DIDN'T WANT TO LEAVE THE MOUTIAN TO GO TO THE HIKING TRAILS, BUT WE DID. WE LISTENED TO THE BIRDS AND NATURE SOUNDS AND SLEPT LIKE BABIES FOR THE FIRST TIME IN MONTHS. WE HIGHLY RECOMMEND IT AND WILL BE TAKING FAMILY BACK NEXT SPRING.

I thoroughly enjoyed your cabin! It is comfortable and wonderful and really a perfect size since I was there alone. THe kitchen had everything I needed to cook a little and I couldnt' have been happier. You have a real treasure! I enjoyed walking to the pond and there was snow on Sunday. I drove through the mountains and by the river and it was perfect! I built a naice fire and had hot chocolate and finished a book. THe weather was warm on Monday and you have the best cabin in the best place I have ever been.

Just got back from TN... The cabin was GREAT! We all had a nice, relaxing time. We took the canoe out one day, and I DID jump in the lake a few times!!! Mostly just relaxed and enjoyed the beutiful country. People down there are so nice, too. Seems like a great place to come in the winter too! Very Cozy! Thanks again for everything!!! Joanna
