It was so enjoyable to walk into a place that felt like home. Everything was clean and easy to find upon arrival. I loved being able to cook and barbque, with every dish and utensil (and even some spices and oils) I needed. There was tupperware for my left overs. Even when I needed a water bottle to take to the beach there was one! Beach chairs, umbrellas, towels, fins...I know for future visits I can pack very lightly since everything I needed was provided. Even when I injured my hand, a first aid kit was there- a home away from home. The furniture was clean and comfortable. Most remarkable was how quiet the complex was. It felt safe to be there alone. I loved sitting on the lanai and looking at the ocean view. Looking forward to coming back.

Lovely condo and extras

We stayed here the 3 nights we were in Kona and found it to be a great spot from which to explore the West side. Photos accurately represent the property. Very clean, spacious and comfy, with the full kitchen a big plus. We never heard the neighbors and this unit is on the top floor so no need to worry about noisy people above you. No A/C, but we found it cooled enough at night with windows open and fans that it wasn't needed (just so you know, it was 85 outside during the day). There was some slight traffic noise with windows open, but I am a very light sleeper and I never had any trouble falling/staying asleep. They stock it with lots of thoughtful extras like guide books, coolers (which saved us lots of money packing lunchs for beach/snorkeling trips), beach towels and mats, and even a couple of beach chairs. Washer & dryer in unit is very nice also and helped us reduce our # of bags so the airline couldn't gouge us too much : ) Would recommend to others and definitely stay here again.

I must say this is the perfect place to stay! A quiet, comfy place in a great location with a great view and amenities (pool, BBQ, big lanai) - easy access to local restaurants and shops (on foot) as well as trips to the local bays and sites! I true gem that I look forward to returning to!

What a great vacation home... I really felt as tho I was returning to my very own quiet and comfortable home away from home. Thats the best feeling I have had in awhile, especially after my day trips and beach outings. Even my mornig stroll to get fresh smoothie just a block or two, at a small smoothie stand. Some mornings I would venture further on foot, for fresh coffee(Kona of course! not the blend) and great fresh fruit breakfastbout 1/4mile down the road. Great location too! far enough from anything noisy, easy to enjoy the walk to local restaraunts and easy enough to call a cab if you think you need too... Great way to start your day and a wonderful end the evening, knowing you can sit on the lanai(patio) overlook a graet pool and oceanview... hearing the waves with my breakfast was Awesome! We had a great time in this condo. It was close to town, had everything we needed, and was very comfortable. The owner Christine was super nice,and gave us great tips on the island and made our stay really enjoyable. The bed was terrific! We hope to stay again!

Great condo! It had everything we could have asked for; it was a treat to sit on the lanai for breakfast, or at the end of a perfect day in paradise. Very comfortable and thoughtfully furnished. We will stay again if/when we can get back to the Big Island, and recommend it highly. Thank you!

Just wanted to drop you a note that your condo and location were great. David and I were there for triathlon training, so we didn't spend much time in the condo, except for sleep. We spent a lot of time riding on the Queen K, swimming in the ocean and running down Alii Drive. I'm planning on being back in October. Anyway, thanks so much for letting us rent your condo it was perfect!

We stayed in Kona for one month in the Alii Villas. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The condo was very well equipped, neat, tidy and all our needs were met. The pool and grounds were also very well maintained. Proximity to town and attractions was also a positive factor. We would recommed these accomodations to anyone.

My trip to Hawaii was fantastic! One of my favorite parts was staying at your condo. It felt like a home away from home. The Condo was extremely clean and well stocked. I thought the decorations were simple and tasteful. The pool was a great way to cool down before going to bed. Lastly, I thought your professionalism and genuine concern for me as a renter was awesome (especially since I had never rented with VRBO before and was a little ignorant when it came to how things worked).
