The houses are a five-bedroom main inn, the three-bedroom cottage, the reception house for the weddings and events, and a newly renovated apartment house. Most of the rooms include fireplaces, featherbeds, private baths, whirlpools, cable TV/VCR/DVD with remote, free local telephone calls on private phones, wireless internet service, and a business center. Breakfast in the dining room, in the bedroom, or on the porches or gardens, at your choice of time, indicates our flexibility. Also, all houses have complimentary snack bars for your enjoyment, at your convenience.
We are close to downtown to walk for shopping, dining, entertainment, and museums. We are also located only one mile from Middle Tennessee State University and two miles from Interstate 24.
We specialize in the great getaways for the family or a reunion of friends. Murfreesboro is the geographic center of Tennessee and the South. We are just one day's drive from many states. The houses have fully-equipped kitchens for making your own meals. It is like going to Grandma's house, but bring her, too. You can bike or walk the greenway trails, wade in the creek, and picnic along the way. Enjoy historic walking tours, quaint downtown shops, a historic mansion, a hands-on children's museum, and a pioneer village, all within walking distance from the inn. Dad can golf or visit the Civil War battlefield or just enjoy the children. Reserving the entire inn will guarantee you a home-away-from-home for the family dog, too.
Our catering staff can provide a variety of foods for your larger events or weddings or your two-person private dinners. A beautiful outdoor wedding area and indoor reception house will make your wedding day one of your dreams. A large white arbor is the focal point and is lovely for pictures. If bad weather approaches, we simply move everything inside. The three comfortable houses, all adjacent to the reception house, can accommodate your out-of-town guests in one location.
