It is entirely handicapped accessible; including the pool and beach access.
All 4 bedrooms are air-conditioned. There is a full kitchen in the main house with blender, microwave, coffee-maker, cable TV. There will be internet access coming soon. The surrounding gardens have over 100 species of plants and fruit trees. This rental property has it all.

Why the Owner Chose Jaco
When I went to Costa Rica for a two week vacation, I wasn't thinking about buying. But then I found Jaco, which felt so right I decided to buy property there. There was so much nature there, and the sound of that surf was just right for me, it was pretty much paradise. There's so much hiking, there's a great ridge right behind the town, and there enough nature and wildlife to rival any national park. Every bush you walk by moves with something alive in it, the whole place is green year round. Jaco is in a great central location in Costa Rica, so for any park or mountain there is in Costa Rica, the town makes a good base to start from. The weather here is better than the weather in any other part of Costa Rica, I think: it's warm and sunny with a cool ocean breeze, plus a few wonderful storms in the rainy season.
The Unique Benefits at this House
My casa is unique in how convenient it is. It's a five minute walk to anywhere in Jaco town, and it's one of only two beach houses left on in the middle of town. Other beach houses are on the far south or north, and you'd need to take a taxi to visit the grocery store in the middle of town. And it's right on the beach, I don't surf but Jaco Beach is popular for its great surfing and boogie boarding, all just right out the back gate. Plus there's my beautiful pool with its relaxing atmosphere, great for working on a tan. Of course, the sound of the surf comes right over the beach and over the pool, you don't hear any traffic or noise from the town.

Hi, my name is Steve Hinman. I am 53 years old and I was born and raised in Victor, Montana, a small town at the foot of the Bitterroot Mountains. I have worked as a journeyman lineman and I own my own backhoe business. For 26 years I worked for the local ski patrol, so you could say I love the outdoors most. My main interests are hiking, backpacking and hunting. Since purchasing Casa Tierra Viva, each year I have spent six months in Montana and six months in Costa Rica.
