This is our 2nd time visiting Maui and our 2nd stay at Kamaole Sands. This unit is better, in a quieter location, than the unit we stayed in last time. It is very conveniently located next to the pool and, of course, walking distance to the beach which is great (we walked there to watch the sunset and stroll the beach almost every evening). This was very nicely furnished with extras that we appreciated (spices, measuring cups/spoons, baking dishes, mixing bowls, etc). Our only minor complaints/things we missed are: the bed was not really comfortable, we woke up stiff each morning; no oven mitts in the kitchen, we made lasagna one night and had quite the adventure figuring out how to get it OUT of the oven when it was done; and both of us stepped on the carpet tacks going from the master bedroom to bathroom at least once (ouch!). Other than those minor issues, we had a fabulous time and wouldn't hesistate to stay in this unit again. Also, Ed was very accomodating and easy to work with - mahalo! I also wanted to add, for those planning on visiting, the things we really enjoyed that we did this trip: whale watching - Pacific Whale Foundation is EXCELLENT and we had a great time; zipline - the canopy tour with Piholo Ranch was SO fun and the guides were awesome; surf lessons - Keith at Goofy Foot Surf School was a fun, informative instructor; and last but not least: Warren & Annabelle - a must, must, must see!

I'm sorry the bed didn't work for you, it is less than two years old and hotel quality but it may be a bit soft for some. As for the carpet tacks, that is news to us and we will get those fixed ASAP! We stayed in your condo during our trip to Maui to get married in July '11! We loved the first floor location and the convenience to the pool. Everything in the condo was great, and the bed was very comfortable. The A/C in the bedroom made a huge difference in our sleeping comfort and was much appreciated! Thank you for letting us stay in your beautiful condo and we hope to stay in your slice of heaven again soon!

Your condo has a very homey feel to it. John loved the Internet service he tends to live on his computer. I liked the island decor it made the condo feel like the Paradise we are in. I feel the locations was wonderful. Very convenient to both the pool and the walk to the beach (which we walked everyday). We especially liked that being that close to the pool we still didn't hear the pool noise or people walking back and forth. It was very quiet.

To say that this is an absolutely beautiful condo would be an understatement. We really lucked out! It is amazing!! A home away from home sure nails it on the head. Our trip was spur of the moment decision so I didn't hope for too much so this was such a pleasant suprise.

This years visit was magic (again) thanks to the condo rental. We love the detail in the furnishings that are above and beyond what we see in most vacation rentals. It feels like home, and is the perfect "home base" to launch day trips to the beach, Lahaina, and all that Maui has to offer. The kids loved the pool and the grounds were perfect. We loved it and we'll be back.

We've stayed in a number of condos at Kamaole Sands and yours is by far the nicest! The accomodations - the furnishings, the beach gear - are fanastic! And the location near the pool was ideal for our boys. We spent the mornings at the beach and the afternoons at the pool. We look forward to staying at your place when we visit in the future.

We stayed at your Maui condo from August 22 to Sept.1. We just wanted to let you know that we had a great time - the condo was great! We used the boogie boards, beach toys and other goodies in the outdoor closet - it was very handy. The location was great - we could pop over to the pool for a quick swim with our 4 year old (Wednesday afternoons were our favourite). The beach towels were great as well - we washed them and put them away. We also loved the washer and dryer - so handy! We have absolutely no complaints - everything was great! Our only problem in the future will be that we are spoiled now, so the next condo we rent will have to met our high expectations after staying in your condo. Thanks again! If we ever make it back to Hawaii, we'll be e-mailing you.

Thank you for sharing your Maui home with us. We were travelling with a group of 5 families and we all decided that your unit was by far the nicest. All of the other couples coveted the king size bed and all of the little extras that you provided. Wow, you have a supurb condo. Outstanding location on the property, we have stayed 3 times at Kamaole Sands & your place was the best! We had a great holiday. It was the perfect set up to bring our new baby (3 months) on vacation with us. Enjoyed the beaches and lounging by the pool. Took in some snorkeling, shopping, few beaches, surfing and a luau. Although condo was GREAT, we could have used dish towels and steak knives.

This is a truly spectacular unit. The location is excellent and very convienient to the pool, beach, etc. The furniture is comfortable, updated and well cared for and the decore is amazing. The little painted sandals on the floor are adorable. I'm so pleased I had an opportunity to stay here, and I plan to stay here again as soon as I can get back to Maui!

I believe this condo is the most appealing of any of the three condos I have stayed in in Kamaole Sands including the two stories ones. Being on the ground floor makes loading luggage and food easy and access to the pool is the best! Thanks for the nice vacation.
