  Charles & Emily's Condo is in a good location as described ... about 10mins walk along the beach front to the hotels, restaurants and shopping. The local bus is also just around the corner. The condo has everything you need and is well equipped. The views from the lanai are as shown and the night lights stunning from the 30th floor. I would recommend this condo to a friend or relative and we hope to return.

  We stayed at the Banyan Condo for 3 nights and had a wonderful stay. We had some issue with the digital lock(somehow we reset the programming) and the owner was really helpful in helping us set it back to the default. The place is really well secured. The view from the balcony is amazing and we were close to all the action We mostly walked everywhere except to go to hanauma bay and diamond head. it was really useful to have free parking. There was a fully stocked kitchen which we used to make some basic food like coffee and eggs There was enough place for the 3 people in our group. There is a pool which we never ended up using. I would recommend this place to everyone.

  We were very pleased with the condo and would love to stay there again! The pictures were very authentic and the communication that we had with the owners was pleasant and helpful. Everything went according to plan without disappointments. The location was excellent with a lovely short walk to the beach. The pool area was well kept and clean. The bar-b-ques were a nice touch and we used them regularly. It was a fun way to meet the other people in the building. The general atmosphere of the building was friendly and the elevator rides were always full of conversation. We never had to wait long for an elevator which was a bonus as we were on the 30th floor. Parking was included with the condo and although we only had a car for 1 night it was such a treat not having to worry about extra costs. We rented a Smart car which was so much fun and such a change from our car at home! Try it if you are 2 people, lots of leg room, and the parking is right at the front as it is the smallest car. The owners were quick to respond to email inquiries as was Syndi (the person in Hawaii who cares for the condo). The only complaint that I had was the lanai furniture wasn't very comfortable for long periods of sitting and reading which I like to do. If that could be updated then I would say the condo is perfect! I hope that I'm not promoting it too much as I want to go back again and again and I hope that it will be available.   Our first trip to Hawaii was made better by the location, availability of services, secure off-street parking and the reasonable price of this property. We checked out prices for some nearby hotels after we arrived and this property represented even a better value than we had first thought. It's perfect for a couple with a large living area and kitchen and a decent king bed and bathroom. We prepared our own breakfast each morning from supplies we purchased at a local market. Directions to nearby necessities are provided by the owners and probably saved us a lot of searching. This 30th Floor location has a great view of Waikiki--we could see surfers in the water each morning as we arose. We could still hear a little traffic noise below when the sliding door to the lanai was open, but our visit coincided with an unusual hot, humid spell--at leat for us--so we didn't often have the door open. We didn't use the large pool or spa services, but it's there if you prefer that to a short walk to the beach. The condo tower shares a long lobby area with the Waikiki Banyan Hotel. Some guest services can be used by condo residents: coffe shop/Internet cafe, snack shop, lobby furniture, taxi service, etc. At all times the owners were ready and able to answer my questions and they provided many ideas about how to navigate the nearby areas of Honolulu with the least trouble. The condo was clean and well-maintained. There was really nothing in the property description that was not accurate. We would return to this property without hesitation the next time we visit Honolulu. The ONLY reason I didn't rate this a 5-star experience was that the air conditioning was provided by a window unit mounted low in the outside wall in the living/kitchen area right by the bedroom door. In addition to being a little noisy--the weather dictated that we operate it most of the time--cooling in the bedroom was only effective with the use of the fan provided.

  We had a wonderful time in Waikiki thanks to the great property. It is a comfortable condo, recently renovated, nicely furnished, with a well-outfitted kitchen. The location is great - conveniently close to everything and a minute or so to the beach. We would definitely stay there again.

  We ust returned from our vacation stay at this property. We found the entire experience very smooth and the owners were very easy to contact and quick to respond to any questions. We arrived in Honolulu on July 25th and had no trouble locating the condo and getting in. We found the condo to be exactly that as advertised. We walked the first night to a safeway, about a 12 minute walk and cabbed back with our groceries for the week. The condo has great views, ocean/ mountain/ city and actually most better then we found at other family members places, who were staying at other very pricey hotels. The condo itself was very clean, laundry facilities were just down the hall, the condo is located within a block and a half of the main strip where all the restaurants, stores and beaches are. We never rented a car however there is a trolley/ bus stop close by when we wanted to go to the Ala Moana mall etc. During the stay we had plenty of towels, the bed was very comfortable and found that we had everything we needed including when we bought wine and then found a cork screw in the drawrer. Overall, very affordable, comfortable and well equipped unit close to everything. We would definitely stay at the condo again. We also received our damage deposit back very quick after we returned home. Thanks for the great experience Emily and Charles. Kyle and Cindy

  This is a great property very well located, just 2 bloks away from Waikiki and with the bus stop just around the corner. A Good supermarket only4-5 blocks away, owner have maintained the place in great shape, and they also give excellent suggestions and travel recommendations! The sunset vies are amazing. A little bit noisy at night but you are right there in the center of the City the only downside; sofa bed is very uncomfortable

  We arrived on the 4th of May and found the condo was very easy to locate and checking in went very smooth. We found the condo to be exactly as advertised and we were very pleased with how clean it was! We loved the bed and slept great! The view is beautiful from the balcony! Charles and Emily were very nice when we called to ask a question. We got our cleaning deposit back in record time. All in all...we were very happy with our choice and would recommend it our friends!

  Very clean and newly renovated. Liked being 2 blocks from the beach with all the shops etc at your finger tips. Cooked at home 4 out of 7 nights and had no problem with appliances or supplies. View from the balcony is great and the price is reasonable. Happy about both the a/c and bedroom fan. Free wi-fi was very important to us as we were on a 3 month trip, so needed to be in contact with family regularly to make sure pets/house were fine. Only 2 small snags....the shower head in the bathroom is very low down so you have to bend over a bit to rinse your hair. A parking space is included with the condo, but not designated, so it becomes a pain if you arrive later (10/11pm) as finding the one available spot is like finding a needle in a haystack. It would be better if each spot were designated to a particular condo and that way you would part in the same place no matter what time it was. We would recommend this vacation rental as the pros far out weigh the cons!
