Our condominium is in the Ferringway Condominium complex (50% owner occupied) nestled up against a ridge behind the Fort Lewis College campus which overlooks Historic Downtown Durango and the La Plata Mountains. Public transportation comes right 'to the door' or walk the paved pathways down through the historic residential district to downtown Durango, one and a half miles away.
This sunny, brightly decorated, two bedroom, two and a half bath unit is fully furnished with everything you need for a relaxing, fun vacation. The spacious living area upstairs has two queen-size sofa beds plus extra furniture for lounging around as you visit, watch one of the 140 DVD movies on the large screen TV, sit by the fire or just take in the magnificent views of the La Plata Mountains. The dining table has a capacity of eight. The kitchen has all the utensils you need to whip up a snack or a gourmet meal.
Downstairs, the two bedrooms are located at each end of the entrance hallway. The master bedroom has a King-size bed and en-suite bathroom. Both bedrooms have TVs with cable and VCRs, large wardrobes, chests of drawers, and plenty of room for the rollaway or aero-bed.
