Perched at the edge of the Sequoia National Forest atop Sierra Vista Canyon, this quiet secluded cabin provides breathtaking 180 degree views of Lake Isabella and the surrounding Sierra Mountains. From the comfort of your living room chair or sipping your cup of morning coffee from the front deck, you'll enjoy the peace and tranquility of the spectacular canyon views.
The cabin has 2 Bedrooms (Bedroom #1-One Queen bed & One Double bed, Bedroom #2-One double bed and twin bunk beds),1 full Bathroom, Living Room with picture window, fully equipped kitchen with dining area and wood deck with redwood picnic table. A complete list of amenities can be found below.
A short drive to all area activities including world class kayaking, white water rafting, boating, swimming, mountain biking, all levels of hiking, an abundance of lake and river fishing, scenic walks among the Giant Sequoia's and much much more. In the winter a twenty minute drive straight up adjacent Evans Rd. takes you to alpine country. Here you can enjoy downhill skiing, snowboarding, tubing and sledding at Shirley Meadows Ski Resort.
After a long day in the great outdoors you're probably be hungry and want to head back to the house for a home cooked meal prepared in the fully equipped kitchen or cook up something simple on the BBQ grill. Easier yet maybe you'll just want to enjoy a satisfying meal at one of the many nearby restaurants.
After dinner you can kickback for a relaxing evening. Our idea of relaxing is simply building a fire in the fireplace, playing cards or one of the many board games available,watch a little TV or a movie or just take in a spectacular light show as you stargaze directly outside your door. Or if you still have enough energy after the day's activities, there's plenty of local "establishments" where you can enjoy a drink and some music....maybe even a little "two steppin" to the country tunes @ "The Hut" in nearby Kernville.
