This is a lovely, restored colonial surrounded by incredible views of the Berkshires. It features a large country kitchen with brick and pine floors and barnboard siding. There is a beautiful, very large, dining room with "white-washed" barnboard walls, a large family room with a stone fireplace, as well as a separate, cozy library with a brick fireplace. Attached to the rear of the house is a big screened porch that was converted from an attached barn. This leads onto a very expansive deck, also with a wonderful view. The location is ideal for skiers.
There are five ski areas close by. Bousquet, Butternut, Otis Ridge, Catamount, Jiminy Peak, and not too far from the Vermont border. For those who do not ski, there is great shopping at the Berkshire Outlets in Lee as well as any number of specialty and boutique shops in the area. Cultural and historical sites abound in the surrounding areas of Stockbride, Lenox,Great Barrington, etc.
