Gorgeous view!

We just spent the week in this lovely condo. The view was amazing! The kitchen had everything we needed and it was nice that there were boogie boards and beach toys already there for us to use. The washer and dryer were just around the corner. We arrived early and the unit was ready for us which was helpful since we were travelling with our two year old. The staff was super friendly and helpful. I don't think we could have found a nicer place right on the beach for the same price. We are extremely pleased with our vacation and are hoping to rent this condo again!

Beautiful view

My family stayed here in June 2011. The view was just perfect. I really enjoyed the beach and the resort. We did have to wait until 5:30 to check in because the condo was not cleaned yet. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything we needed to cook. Overall the condo was in great condition. My main complaint were the beds. The king size beds mattress was so hard that is was very uncomfortable to sleep on. The fold out couch mattress was dirty and so thin that all you felt were springs. We weren't able to use it. The bunk bed mattresses were in good condition. If there were new mattresses I would definitely stay in this condo again.

Nice but adverisiing was misrepresenting in my opinioin

While the condo was very nice and the view spectacular, I was very disappointed to find that two of my most important requirements when looking for a unit were not accurately represented in the advertisement. Based on what I saw in the advertisement, I was under the impression that the unit had its own washer and dryer. I also believed that the unti had access to wireless internet. HOwever, when I arrived I found that the washer and dryer mentioned in the ad was a shared set that was used by the enitre floor and cost $2 to wash and dry per load. I also discovered that wireless internet was only avaialble in the lobby not in the unit itself. I encourage the owners to be more clear when describing the ammentities. Thank you

We stayed at the condo for December, January, and February. It was a very pleasant condo with a great view. It was wonderful to get out of the midwest winter. The Pelican Resort has a lot of great activities for the snowbirds.

We have been guests at Pelican Beach many times and this is the nicest condo by far! Everything you could possibly need or want is provided. We loved the decor and the beach views are great. How nice to be so close to the white sand beaches and clear water of the gulf. We had everything we could ask for in our "home away from home" for our 2 week stay. Thank you for thinking of everything and helping to make our memories of this vacation so great!! We highly recommend this condo!

Great Condo for Your Destin Vacation

We stayed in Alan and Denise's condo while in Destin for a wedding and we will definitely stay here again when we return to Destin. The owners were easy to communicate with and responded promptly to emails. Check in at the front desk at Pelican Beach was so convenient. Their condo is comfortably furnished and has everything you need - we especially enjoyed having plenty of towels. The kitchen is well-appointed and it was nice to have breakfast and lunch here. The view from the balcony is spectacular and we even got to watch another wedding taking place from our balcony. It's an easy walk to the beach and the pools at Pelican Beach are nice also. Thanks for sharing your condo with us.

Destin Vacation

Just got back from the Pelican Beach condo. Our family of 4 had a wonderful time there. The condo was perfect and the view was amazing. I would definitely recommend this to others. The location was great and the staff were helpful. Neighbors were a little loud at times, but I'm sure if I had called to complain, the staff would have taken care of it. All of the extras were nice - crafts and activities for the kids, cafe on the property, live music on the property and the beach chairs and umbrellas, etc. We will definitely plan on going back!
