Everything that all other reviewers said is true! This is an awesome condo. You open the balcony and there it is... The beach! The king bed, great job!! They added a memory foam pad that was perfect. Bunk bed mattresses were also comfortable. The only mattress that was uncomfortable was the pull out from the couch but I can't think of ANY pullout being comfy sooo we brought air mattresses. The kitchen had everything we needed. I would have liked a couple more non stick pans but we managed. Location of building was perfect it is right across the street from watermark, restaurants, grocery store, gasoline station, bank, souvenir shops! Facilities: great! The only complain we have is our part of the beach is saturated with people. We had to go down about 7 every morning to reserve a small piece of the beach for us. We were packed in there. Overall our experience was great.Recommended for: Sightseeing, tourists without a car, girls getaway, families with young children, families with teenagers.

MY WIFE AND I WAS VERY IMPRESS WITH THIS CONDO, WHAT A VIEW. WE'VE STAYED IN DESTIN FOR OVER 15 YRS, WE RATE THIS UNIT IN OUR TOP THREE. THIS UNIT KITCHEN WAS THE BEST FURNISHED WE'VE EXPERIENCED, I CAN'T THINK OF ANY DETAILS THIS UNIT MISSED. SO CLEAN AND WELL FURNISHED. ONE OF THE BEST VIEWS IN DESTIN, SO EASY FROM ROOM TO ELEVATOR AND TO THE BEACH IN JUST MINUTES. WOULD GO BACK AND BACK AGAIN AND AGAIN!!!!!!!!! ALSO ONE OF THE BEST BEACH IN DESTIN, SO CLOSE TO DOWNTOWN DINNING, AJ"S DEWEY DESTIN AND HARRY'S T.Recommended for: Tourists without a car, girls getaway, families with young children, romantic getaway, age 55+.

We arrived on March 29th and stayed 3 nights! We absolutely loved the condo! It was fully stocked as it is advertised! We made good use of the blender while there...I really wish I had taken a picture of it, so I could purchase one like it! I did manage to get the brand name on it..haha! The view is amazing..we spent a lot of time on the balcony! We had the awesome opportunity to witness several dolphins swimming straight off our balcony!! That was pretty cool!! This is an awesome resort..we will definitely go back to this one and stay in 806 again!! Thanks so much!! We just spent the week in this lovely condo. The view was amazing! The kitchen had everything we needed and it was nice that there were boogie boards and beach toys already there for us to use. The washer and dryer were just around the corner. We arrived early and the unit was ready for us which was helpful since we were travelling with our two year old. The staff was super friendly and helpful. I don't think we could have found a nicer place right on the beach for the same price. We are extremely pleased with our vacation and are hoping to rent this condo again!Recommended for: Girls getaway, families with young children, age 55+.

My family stayed here in June 2011. The view was just perfect. I really enjoyed the beach and the resort. We did have to wait until 5:30 to check in because the condo was not cleaned yet. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything we needed to cook. Overall the condo was in great condition. My main complaint were the beds. The king size beds mattress was so hard that is was very uncomfortable to sleep on. The fold out couch mattress was dirty and so thin that all you felt were springs. We weren't able to use it. The bunk bed mattresses were in good condition. If there were new mattresses I would definitely stay in this condo again.Recommended for: Girls getaway, families with young children, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with teenagers.

While the condo was very nice and the view spectacular, I was very disappointed to find that two of my most important requirements when looking for a unit were not accurately represented in the advertisement. Based on what I saw in the advertisement, I was under the impression that the unit had its own washer and dryer. I also believed that the unti had access to wireless internet. HOwever, when I arrived I found that the washer and dryer mentioned in the ad was a shared set that was used by the enitre floor and cost $2 to wash and dry per load. I also discovered that wireless internet was only avaialble in the lobby not in the unit itself. I encourage the owners to be more clear when describing the ammentities. We stayed at the condo for December, January, and February. It was a very pleasant condo with a great view. It was wonderful to get out of the midwest winter. The Pelican Resort has a lot of great activities for the snowbirds.Recommended for: Families with young children.

We have been guests at Pelican Beach many times and this is the nicest condo by far! Everything you could possibly need or want is provided. We loved the decor and the beach views are great. How nice to be so close to the white sand beaches and clear water of the gulf. We had everything we could ask for in our "home away from home" for our 2 week stay. Thank you for thinking of everything and helping to make our memories of this vacation so great!! We stayed in Alan and Denise's condo while in Destin for a wedding and we will definitely stay here again when we return to Destin. The owners were easy to communicate with and responded promptly to emails. Check in at the front desk at Pelican Beach was so convenient. Their condo is comfortably furnished and has everything you need - we especially enjoyed having plenty of towels. The kitchen is well-appointed and it was nice to have breakfast and lunch here. The view from the balcony is spectacular and we even got to watch another wedding taking place from our balcony. It's an easy walk to the beach and the pools at Pelican Beach are nice also. Thanks for sharing your condo with us.Recommended for: Girls getaway, families with young children, age 55+, families with teenagers.

Just got back from the Pelican Beach condo. Our family of 4 had a wonderful time there. The condo was perfect and the view was amazing. I would definitely recommend this to others. The location was great and the staff were helpful. Neighbors were a little loud at times, but I'm sure if I had called to complain, the staff would have taken care of it. All of the extras were nice - crafts and activities for the kids, cafe on the property, live music on the property and the beach chairs and umbrellas, etc. We will definitely plan on going back!Recommended for: Sightseeing, tourists without a car, people with disabilities, girls getaway, families with young children, adventure seekers, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with teenagers.
