Although Killington is the largest ski area in the Eastern US, winter isn't the only time to visit. Summer & fall offer beautiful weather in the Green Mountains of Vermont. The ski mountain offers hiking & mountain biking to include gondola rides up (with or without a bike). There is also a water slide, climbing wall,local canoeing & fishing, as well as golfing on Killington's nationally acclaimed golf course. Fall foliage is unquestionably a visual delight and can be viewed with scenic gondola rides. The town of Rutland is only 15 minutes away and offers shopping as well as various fun events throughout the year. Therefore,there are all sorts of goings on, from pure sporting adventure to quiet evenings under the stars.
