Sunny Side at Casa Del Sol is a unique 1800 sqft passive solar townhouse located in Fraser, Colorado. This charming two bedroom, 2-1/2 bath home sleeps 6, has a private hot tub, fully equipped kitchen with dishwasher, microwave, JennAire range, and 2 ovens and has been tastefully decorated throughout.
The master suite has a private bath, a queen bed and a comfortable queen futon in the retreat, an original Hottentot wood burning potbelly stove, 2 vanities and a walk-in Cedar closet. The 2nd bedroom has 2 twin beds and large twin closets. A queen sleeper sofa in the living room completes the sleeping arrangments. There is an attached one car garage and parking for two vehicles.
Beautiful stained glass windows over the large Redwood solarium and rich oak cabinets and woodwork throughout add the Old World Elegance of a European Chalet.
We have made a conscious and deliberate effort to make Sunny Side as Earth Friendly and Energy Efficient as possible. In addition to the efficient passive solar design, we have replaced nearly all of the inefficient incandescent light bulbs with warm -tone energy saving compact fluorescent bulbs. The furnace is a new energy efficient design.We also have replaced the old decking with earth friendly TREX boarding. We are committed to the preservation of the environment and will continue to make Sunny Side your environmentally responsible vacation choice.
