The location is ideal for Orlando's theme parks, as well as the restaurants and shopping malls of International Drive. The attractions of Kissimmee are even closer. There is a supermarket and parade of shops on the edge of the site. The Space Centre and Busch Gardens are only an hour's drive away.

Year Purchased: 2004
I am a retired FE lecturer & my wife Norma is a Psychotherapist. We live in Stafford which is the county town of Staffordshire in the West Midlands. We have a daughter who works as a neurophysiologist in the NHS. I belong to the Rotary Club of Stafford Castle (yes, we have a castle!) and Norma is a member of Inner Wheel. We enjoy going on holiday, in the UK & abroad. We like to visit the theater & cinema as well as eating out locally. Every month we try to visit a National Trust property with friends.
Why the Owner Chose Highlands Reserve
We loved the idea of a holiday home in Florida, mainly because of the weather. Highlands Reserve was highly thought of and within easy reach of both Sanford & Orlando airports. Also the theme parks were close, and being in the centre of Florida meant about 1 hour's drive to either coast and the sea. One trip we even managed to get down to the Florida keys for a few days. We try and visit a couple of times per year & rent out the rest of the time to help pay the mortgage!
The Unique Benefits of this Villa
The local shops & amenities at 4 Corners have developed considerably over the last 5 years & now provide a variety of bars & restaurants as well as many other useful businesses including a bank & a branch of Publix right on our doorstep. The golf course at Highlands Reserve is highly thought of, although I must admit I have never played myself! My wife loves to visit the many shopping malls within easy reach of our villa whilst I sit & enjoy a coffee in the nearest cafe.

We had a fabulous time! We have stayed in several homes throughout the past 7 or 8 years, and yours was the cleanest by far, something I really appreciated. We enjoyed the pool. Even when it was cool in the early morning or late evening, it felt great with the pool heat. It was nice to be able to take breaks from the crowds at Disney, although we had a great Disney experience. My husband thought you did a nice job setting up the house. If we are in Orlando again for a vacation, we would enjoy returning to your home.

We had a great vacation and thoroughly enjoyed your lovely home. Wayne has some back problems, and it is always a bonus to have such good beds, especially when we are away for a month. The temperature of the pool was wonderful, as I am not too partial to cool water anymore. We had some cool weather and a heavy frost a couple of nights, but for January, things went very well.

Good Morning John, I just wanted to drop you a note regarding our stay in your beautiful home. We returned to the COLD north this weekend and are getting adjusted. Our stay was OUTSTANDING, we have been staying in this area for the past 7 years and this by far was our BEST stay. Your home was so comfortable that we felt like we had been there for years. The house was exceptionally clean and this was the first time my wife did not have to clean a stove on our arrival. Everything about the house made us feel welcome, and therefore we had the BEST month ever. We left the house in the same condition as we found it, and it was a pleasure to take care of a home like yours, because just being there made it feel like it was yours. My wife told our relatives how wonderful and comforting the house was and that this was our best Florida trip, made possible by having such a great home to spend time in.

Hi John, your directions were great, lock box key was found ok, pool heat was on, etc. We must say your villa was in pristine condition, so thank you very much for its use. We have friends who may be going out this summer, & would not hesitate to recommend your villa - the location worked well for us & the villa itself is excellent! We played golf at Highlands Reserve, & a couple of other courses - all up to the usual standard. If you need any feedback on where's good to play, we'd be happy to supply it.

Hello John, your villa is superb & certainly exceeded our expectations. The main thing being the feel of living in a 'real' home rather than a holiday home. I am sure the villa is just as comfortable regardless of the time of year & had everything anyone would need, either long or short term. The villa & pool certainly came as a relief at the end of the long days at various parks & was also very relaxing on our 'days off'! It was also ideally located for the supermarket as you'd indicated. Thank you again for the use of your villa & would certainly welcome the opportunity of using it again in the future.
