Why rent a room at a Bed & Breakfast when you can have the whole house to yourself? You'll feel quite special in the beautiful, historic O'Hara House set on the babbling Garden Creek in the quaint little Village of Garden, near Lake Michigan's Big Bay de Noc. Majestic pillars welcome you to the front portico with swing - a great place to watch passers-by on sleepy Water Street. There are three bedrooms upstairs - one with a queen sized bed, one with a double, and one with a twin bed. A full bathroom is just down the hall. On the first floor, there is a bedroom with a double bed and a full bathroom nearby. The spacious living room has lots of plush seating and a TV with DVD & VCR, DISH Satellite fed. The modern kitchen is open to the dining room, and has double doors overlooking the Hot Tub on the private deck, and the Garden Creek beyond.
It's just a short drive from The O'Hara House to the Upper Peninsula's most loved attractions, like Fayette Ghost Town, Fairport's Salmon fishing charters on Big Bay de Noc, boat launch at Garden Bay, Kitchi-ti-kipi (Big Springs), Pictured Rocks, Tahquamenon Falls, miles of Hiawatha State Forest, and golf, Golf, GOLF!! Enjoy relaxing in the Hot Tub on the deck, then walk downtown for ice cream, art browsing and gifts. Entertainment at the Kewadin Casino awaits you in nearby Manistique.
