Start your dream vacation in our renovated unit with beautiful tropical landscaping at the gateway to Wailea. This unit is on the ground floor; no carrying luggage and groceries up stairs. There is an incredible sunset and ocean view from the upper bbq/pool area which is only a few steps from your lanai. This unit has an A+ rating; the highest attainable.
A few minutes walk brings you to the beautiful Kamaole III Beach with its excellent swimming, snorkeling and body surfing/boogie boarding opportunities. A five minute walk down the road to the south brings you to the Five Palms restaurant with its incredible view of Keawakapu Beach and the sunsets over the islands of Kaho'olawe and Lanai. Just a few minutes further are the championship Wailea golf courses, the beautiful Wailea Beach walkway and the popular Shops at Wailea. A 5 minute walk north brings you to two of our favorite restaurants Fred's Mexican Grill and Cafe O'Lei.
A complete remodeling of this unit was completed in July 2005 with all new furnishings, appliances, tile and carpeting. An enclosed walk-in tile shower was added in place of the bath tub. There is a new clothes washer/dryer in the entry way closet.
The kitchen features cherry wood cabinets with dark chocolate granite countertops. The kitchen is fully equipped with every necessity of home with dishes, utensils, toaster, coffee grinder, coffee maker, tea kettle and blender, right down to red and white wine glasses!
The bedroom has a new queen size bed (replaced in 2007)and ceiling fan. The living area is spacious and airy featuring island décor, new rattan furniture and ceiling fan with queen size pull-out sofa bed, new 46" HDTV in living area and 32" HDTV in bedroom and two air conditioners (one in bedroom, one in living room). Unit sleeps four (2 adults, 2 children)

- Kamaole III beach which is directly across the street from our complex, has a beautiful grassy area and is one of the more popular places many have to drive to to enjoy the beautiful sunsets. Fly your kite, play horseshoes, bochie ball, etc. or simply have a glass of wine and watch the sunset. Kamaloe III beach also has a natural trail that you can take walking southward above the ocean towards the Mani Kai hotel.

Why the Owner Chose Hale Kamaole
We were both married before so unbeknownst to us both, we each had a dream of owning property in Hawaii.
We finally made the plunge in 2007 albeit, 5 days prior to the economic downturn. Hale Kamaole has
special memories for me as my parents, who are now deceased, stayed there in the late 1970's. Also, Russ and I stayed there in 1997 when we first got together. We absolutely love our condo and haven't seen many that have been renovated to this level.

After 6 weeks in this condo we have no negative comments - none! This condo is very tastefully decorated and has all you would ever need on site. Quiet location away from where the kids run and play but close enough to join in if you want. Watch people play tennis and park real close for easy unloading. Extra washroom nearby in case. Swimming pool and bbq pit are only 100 feet away. Charcoal bbq's pits are a refreshing way to cook from the past and a social event every night as the sun sets. If you are lucky enough to book this unit your vacation will be a success!!
Recommended for:People with disabilities, girls getaway, age 55+, families with young children.

It was our first time to Maui and first time VRBO users. Both experiences were wonderful. The condo was everything pictured and more. The beach was very close and the snorkelling gear came in handy. We would highly recommend this unit. We will be back as Maui is a beautiful island. Mahalo

We had a wonderful time at Hale Kamaole and enjoyed our stay in your newly renovated condo. It provided us will all the comforts of home in a luxurious decor. The shaded lanai was a nice break from the hot sun. We look forward to returning one day.

This condo is truly a perfect home away from home. We love the updated decor and the beautifully renovated bathroom and kitchen. The location within the condo complex is ideal for the pool and BBQ's and the privacy when sitting on the lanai for morning coffee is terrific. The location of the condo complex within Kihei is great for walking, especially to the Five Palms Grill for pupus! The on-site laundry is an absolute must and we appreciated having so many beach chairs, boogie boards and snorkelling gear sets to choose from- thank you. No detail has been overlooked at this "high end hale" and we will be returning again and again and again. Thank you too for the great suggestions for things to do while on Maui. These owners are true hosts! Mahalo!

We had a wonderful experience while staying in Condo 129. It was first class all the way. Beautifully decorated and appointed with all the necessary features & well equipped. It is situated in a prime spot within walking distance of restaurants, the beach & shopping. It is also only a short distance by car to the highway leading to many wonderful attractions. The owners were very helpful & provided us with lots of suggestions of sights & Maui's hidden treasures of enjoyment, many of which we visited & enjoyed. There is no hesitation to say we will be back to once again enjoy this condo & Maui.

We booked our condo through directly with the owners of unit 129. The owners were very open to questions and concerns we had. We arrived Memorial Day weekend and after 5 1/2 hours of non-stop flying we arrived to a nice clean condo! We loved it. The kitchen is awesome. I am a cook and it had everything I needed. It was just like cooking at home. It was equipped with a blender, food processor, good knives, coffee grinder, wine cooler, nice dinnerware, excellent cook pots and the appliances were almost new. It had new granite counter tops and ceramic tile. The lanai had a small closet that well equipped with snorkel gear (for 2), beach chairs, beach umbrellas, boogie board and beach mats. The condo felt like a hotel suite. We were in the lower level and were very close to the pool which was perfect for our little one. Our unit was set back enough from the street that you did not really hear the traffic from Kihei Road. The beach was a 5 minute walk... we went down the building complex, crossed the street and the beach was right there. This condo complex was a 7 minute drive to the shops at Wailea and 2 minute drive to restaurants (you can walk to the restaurants and it will be a 10 minute walk). The condo complex has two pools, a tennis court and public b.b.q. areas (used by condo owners/guest only) and it is nicely kept. We recommend this unit to anybody with small kids. The condo has air conditioner units in both the bedroom and living room. The condo is one bedroom, one bath and it has a washer/dryer unit which came really handy as we packed light and washed our stuff over and over again during our 2 week stay. We saw other units with no such amenities and we felt lucky we got unit 129. The only drawback is that the owners do not take Paypal or credit cards so we advanced them a deposit via check. At first I was nervous as we always book using a credit card... but everything turned out fine. Daily Maid service is extra and expensive but the owner has provided a vac, broom, mop and cleaning supplies so it was not a big deal to clean up.

Your condo was great and we had a good time.I would not hesitate to stay in your place again and will recommend it to my friends!I see it is already booked for my favorite time next year, maybe i could do it in the off season.
