  We just returned home from our second stay at this property and were sad to leave. The accommodations are exactly as described; everything is very comfortable. The kitchen is well stocked and has plenty of room to cook your meals. There's even a new television. This year we devoted more time to biking. The roads throughout the resort are easy and safe to bike, but we also found Timpoochee, a local bike trail that is separate from traffic. Because we do not like to ride with traffic, we drove to Topsail State Park, parked the car and then picked up a trail that is about 18 miles long. It passes through many small villages but also has miles of riding by beaches and parks. Topsail is also good for a short ride or for beach access. There are many places to park along the trail, so you do not have to ride the entire route and then return by bike.

  Just wanted to say how much we enjoyed our stay! Your condo is beautifully decorated and had everything we needed for a wonderful vacation. Having the golf cart was great to get around in and I loved riding a bike down to the beach. It was so nice to have the recliners in the living room, easy to stretch out and relax after a hard day at the beach! We especially enjoyed having dinner out on the patio watching a couple little ducks playing on the pond. the pool was gorgeous and they were planting more palm trees around it while we were there making it a tropical oasis! And parking right outside the door was a plus. Thanks again for sharing your home with us we really had a wonderful time!

  Just know that "Uncle Corky's" (I swear our kids were saying that by the end of our stay) is a great man with a great wife and a great place! He honors his word and takes pride in his property. You can tell his wife frequently visits their home away from home and updates the beachy cottage to the month! NO, you are not on the beach. You are better....overlooking a lake that my kids fished in ever night and even got to know the neighbors! The beach is a blink away and we watched movies and went to the wharf and followed their dining suggestions! i guess it took me a while to say how awesome our stay was because I was still steamrolling of our first family vacation...With a 10, 7, & 5 year old it was about time....but worth every dollar and wait! THIS PLACE IS STOCKED with spices, a grill, beach chairs, towels, games, fishing poles, and the golf cart was the icing on the cake! Thanks for the memories and see ya next year! You truly made our family's first tradition!

  Wonderful condo very convenient to beach it was our third stay here and is still the best place we have stayed. The owners are wonderful to deal with and always friendly and helpful..

  This condo is absolutely wonderful! Everything you need for the beach is there!! Our family had a great time. We have three small boys and they loved riding the golf cart to the beach during the day and to Baytowne at night. The pool is nice and so close to the condo, which was also great for the boys. We hope to stay here again! It was great being at the beach for July 4th...Baytowne put on a fabulous fireworks show! Thanks so much!!

  My husband and I are just about to pack our suitcases to leave Sandestin after staying for a week with another couple. The condo is perfect for two couples because both bedrooms are removed from the kitchen and living room. That gave all of us privacy, and we weren't afraid that we were waking anyone if we stayed up late or got up early. There was plenty of room for all of us. We have never seen a vrbo place so well stocked: detergents, paper products, coffee filters, even spices. Don't shop until you see what's here. Sandestin Resort is huge with beautiful areas for walking or biking; we didn't use the golf cart, so I can't comment on that, but it was available for our use. Lots of people were riding around. Although you could spend all of your time at the resort, we went to Pensacola to see the Naval Aviation Museum, forts and old village area. All are well worth a visit, and the drive is quite nice, so long as you view it as a scenic drive. We also enjoyed Fort Walton Beach with the Indian Mound site and Destin Harbor. Another option is a leisurely drive along 30A; we were surprised to see how different that area is. As much as we enjoyed visiting these other places, we can't imagine that there's a better place to stay. The resort is close to attractions but quiet and beautiful. And this villa is perfect.

  My family and I have stayed in Sandestin many times. We have stayed in the Village at Pilot House, Market Street, Bahia, and Grand Sandestin. We have stayed Beachside in Luau and Beachside II. I would have to say that of all these places, this stay at Beachwalk Villas was the best. The unit was very clean and WELL STOCKED. We like to do most of our own cooking while we vacation and most times the kitchens are lacking but this unit had everything we needed. Cable TV and wireless high speed internet were provided as well. The internet was useful to me as I was able to work from the sofa when needed. In addition to the well stocked kitchen, the owner is very generous in giving access to his golf cart, nice beach chairs and bikes. The golf cart has 3 row seating and seats 6 easily. Our kids had a blast riding back and forth to Jolee's Island and the Village. Horseshoe lake is just outside the back door and our children had a great time feeding the ducks. The swimming pool entry is just outside the front door making the location of this condo ideal. The unit has a bedroom downstairs with two single beds and an entry to the downstairs bathroom. The master bedroom is upstairs and has a bathroom with double vanity and a nice, large walk in closet. There is a loft area upstairs that has two single beds so this condo EASILY fit our family of 5. Finally, making rental arrangements was very easy and the owner was very responsive to our every need. I think that our family has found it's preferred place to stay in Sandestin and will be booking another stay here shortly. Thanks to the owner for a GREAT stay!

  My husband and I stayed August 18th-22 2010. We needed a much needed rest from the hustle and bustle of our lives for the last 6 months. This condo absolutely made it happen. The pictures of the condo are exactly what the place looks like. It had everything and more that one would need for a beach trip. It was very clean and close to the beach. A 2 minute golf cart ride and you were there. The golf cart was exceptional. You can zip over to the Publix via the back way and stop on the way and do a little shopping and you don't want to miss Baytowne Warf. We have stayed numerous times in Sandestin and Beachwalk. This particular condo was by far the best. I have recommended this to our friends and family. I have already booked our vacation in June. Thank you Mr. and Mrs. Welch!!

• Great condo!

  We have rented in San Destin for over 10 years and we have never stayed in a nicer, more well appointed condo. The kitchen has every utinsel you could ever need. The owners have even provided bikes, and beach chairs! Beachwalk has always been our favorite location, quite, great pool, yet a quick walk to the beach. We can't wait until next year!
