We recently spent 14 days at Gene and Galinda's lovely condo. My family of 5 and I were extremely comfortable in this spacious condo. Every comfort and convenience was available to us. The views from the lanai were majestic. We loved seeing the peacocks every day. I think my 10 year old took more photos of the peacocks than she did of the beaches. We spotted turtles most every day and even a few dolphins just walking along the shores in Makaha. Pokai Bay (5 minutes from the condo) was the perfect beach for us. My family loves to paddle surf and that was the perfect location for that activity. It was one of the most relaxing vacations we have had in a long time. Ko O Lina was less than 30 minutes away and we tried some really great Restaurants and enjoyed the Lagoons. Roy's was exceptional! My family and I are already planning our next trip back and hope to stay here again! Thanks Gene and Galinda for providing such a warm and homey place to stay!

Great condo and beautiful grounds. Makaha is a bit far from Waikiki, but worth the drive. Lots of secluded public beaches, including one with dolphin viewing out in the bay. Very well kept condo unit. May need to check on accessibility to units and pool/BBQ area. Lots of stairs.

The elevator which is in close proximity to the front door of the condo goes to the "lower level" where the pool and BBQ area is located. Of course you can also take the stairs.

The view from this condo is priceless. The mountains and the ocean, what a view!! It was hard to go to a restaurant when you had a view like this. The property was in excellent shape. All the appliances worked well. Nice selection of DVD movies. I only have one concern. We were told it was breeding season for the peacocks that live in the area. At night the peacocks would let out its call. We are light sleepers, and this would awaken us. The listing photo's are just like the condo. Gene and Galina have a very nice condo. The next time we visit the island we will stay here!!!!

If we should ever return to Oahu, we would definitely try to stay at this Makaha Towers condo. We specifically did not want to stay in the hub of the tourist centers, and this location was perfect. The condo was clean, cheerful, comfortable, and completely furnished. My husband and I, our daughter, and five year old granddaughter had plenty of space. The view is magnificent. Nice beaches are close, but if you don't like the sand, the pool is wonderful! Gene is responsive, gracious, and informative. This is a great value!

My mother and I just returned from our hawaiian dream vacation. I have to say that Gene and Galina have thought of our every need. The apartment and accomodations were very comfortable.The view was spectacular. We spent most of our time visiting with Ohana and researching my geneology on my grandmothers side. Since my stay there for two weeks I have taken my mother to Maui, Phoenix and Las Vegas. Makaha Valley Towers have spoiled her from all others. It was a dream of mine to make her happy. Thanks to people like Gene and his wife Galina and the wonderful staff it requires to ensure a wonderful stay I believe that I have succeeded. Mahalo, Olivia

It was another great experience at Makaha Valley Towers (MVT). The condo was very clean and all was in great order. The rental sign up, communication and entry process was very convenient. Gene is a most gracious host. We have had many annual vacations at the MVT, and enjoyed this trip as much as any before. The view over the Makaha valley every morning is most pleasing and a wonderful, relaxing way to start the day with breakfast and coffee. Also, the same goes for the evening sunsets over the ocean at the end of the day, although with a mai tai in hand rather than coffee. Many days were enjoyed at Makaha beach swimming and reading. We saw more green sea turtles this trip every day than at times in the past. Among many other other activities were local eateries in Waianai, several days at Yokohama beach (never crowded at Makaha or Yokohama), secluded Turtle Beach and a trip to the North shore which included Haleweiva, Waimea beach and falls, a cold coconut stand. Mostly just quiet beach time with plenty of rest, sun, blue water, white sand and warm breezes. Thank you.

Besides the view, condo was clean and comfortable. I would recommend this to anyone. It was close to the beach and places to explore. Owner was very helpful with any questions I had.

Well worth every penny we spent! The grounds around the condo and the view was beautiful. The staff and other residents were very friendly. Condo is exactly as shown in the listing, no surprises. If you want to be away from the hustle and bustle of Waikiki and don't mind driving I highly recommend staying here. Gene was very helpful with our travel plans and provided valuable information on things to do in Hawaii. Thanks Gene for all your help and a Great Hawaii Experience! MAHALO

Our first visit to Hawaii so we spent most days exploring and were glad to return to this comfy condo each evening. We were happy to be away from the big city lights and traffic and enjoyed the security and serenity of the Towers. Collected some awesome Makaha sunsets! From the beginning correspondence Gene made us feel welcome and his directions and recommendations were excellent. Thanks G and G for sharing your home-away-from home!

We travel to Hawaii twice a year and stay for a long time. This was one of the nicest apartments we have ever rented. The owners are superb, and have given thought about all the details for this rental. You won't be disappointed with this apartment.

We had just the best time while we were in Oahu and we were very happy with the condo the Makaha Valley Towers as well. Everyone was so nice and it was so quiet. I did go swimming in at a cove just down the way and a sea turtle swam with up to me, it was just so neat. I plan on using your condo when we return to Oahu, which will hopefully be soon, either together or on separate vacations. Thanks so much for sharing you island home with us, it was great.

We just wanted to say thank you for letting us rent your condo for our vacation. We had a wonderful time oahu. The Makaha valley is vary beautiful. The only thing that would have made our trip better, was if we could have stayed another week. We enjoyed the beach, the lazy turtles, and the vary vocal peacocks. We had a few laughs over the peacocks.

This condo was wonderful. We couldn't have picked a better location. I would never stay in Waikiki now that I have stayed in Makaha. Great facilities and security. Gene was wonderful to deal with. Thank you again for allowing our family to stay in your condo.
