  This VRBO certainly exceeded our expectations. It was beautiful, reasonably priced, and very close to good skiing/snowboarding. The only thing I may mention is that if you are coming with a young child, there is no baby gate at the top of the stairs (its a 2 story), and the stairs are fairly steep. Just something to plan for :) We visited in winter, but it would likely be a great summer spot too. Great family neighborhood.

  We have stayed here the last two summers and we have had a great time. We really enjoyed staying in this cabin, there is ample space, a great deck to eat on and relax and the cabin is well equipped. The owner is very easy to deal with and helpful. We really enjoy this area as well, walking distance to everything we need and the mountain biking right out the door is excellent. Close proximity to Sugar Pine point is an added bonus as well.

  My girlfriends and I rented this West Shore house for 4th of July week and had a fabulous time. The location was perfect - under 10 minutes walking from Chamber's Landing Bar & Grill. We were also just steps away from a beautiful path along the highway that we ran every morning. Just a quick 10 minute cab to Sunnyside and about 15 to Tahoe City for more action. The house itself was spotless and had all the accoutrements we needed. We slept great in the beds, enjoyed cooking in the kitchen, and made use of the BBQ and decks in the evening. The owners were extremely nice, responsive and helpful throughout. I hope to stay here every summer!

  Had a great stay with the whole family. Spacious clean home with plenty of supplies for our winter ski trip. Great quiet neighborhood with open woods near by. Few blocks from the lake and from Rubicon trail. Would definitely recommend this location.

  The cabin was very nice and clean and had almost everything that we needed. We enjoyed our stay. we loved the State Park close by it was beautiful. Also enjoyed The River Grill in Tahoe City and the half price fish taco night at Sunnyside.

  Rented the cabin for a weekend trip, two couples and a baby stayed very comfortably. There was plenty of room and we could have easily accommodated another couple. The cabin has a nicely renovated kitchen with all the conveniences of home and a comfortable living area. The cabin did not have a spacious yard, however it had two small deck areas upstairs. All in all, we enjoyed our stay and dealing with the owners was a pleasure.

  Located in a beautiful, quiet neighborhood, this home provided all that we needed for our long weekend in Lake Tahoe. Kitchen and Bathrooms were very beautifully updated. We appreciated all the amenities that were provided, fully stocked spice cabinet, dishes, glasses, towels, sheets etc. All we had to do was buy our groceries. We would definatley consider renting this property again. They owner was very pleasant to deal with.

  We really enjoyed our stay here. We had a multi-family group with no-one under 16. The floorplan and size was great. The main room with living room and kitchen easily seats 6-7 adults in either area. The table has 6 chairs. There is a picnic table on the kitchen deck. (You would not want a very large group, but the owner probably does not want that either.) The 2 master suites on the ground floor and living space with 2 bedrooms upstairs is unique and functioned very nicely for us. We loved having 2 roomy decks for chasing the sun or the shade and for barbequing. Two of us chose to sleep out on the deck in sleeping bags, under the stars, just because it was so nice. With quiet streets on 2 sides there are only 2 neighbors (though one did like some strange music, but we could get away from it easily by switching deck). The vacant lot across the street made for a nice view. This is not the house for lots of outdoor garden space but it's on the flat, great for hanging out on the decks and taking off on a hike and it's not far to the lake. The owner was very good to work with and answered his phone. Nice. The house was in very good condition, well maintained and updated. We will be back.

  We rented this home for two couples and our kids. It was very convenient for skiing at Homewood and very cosy for evenings at home. The kitchen had everything we needed, including a crockpot, even a coffee grinder and an awesome spice collection. The wifi and fax were convenient because some of us had to work. Everything was spotless on our arrival and the owner was very nice. We will be back.

  For Easter break, we rented this home for 4 days. We like to ski at Homewood and it's in a great location for getting to and from there. It snowed a good part of the days and nights, and the fireplaces kept the home plenty warm and cozy. It is a pet friendly property, but there is no trace of pets having been in the house and the owners were easy to communicate with.
