We offer two adjoining OCEAN-FRONT units that can be rented separately or together. Each studio unit sleeps four and has its own fully-equipped kitchen, dinette, private bathroom, and a huge balcony with a spectacular view of the ocean or Cancun’s lagoon. Studio one has a queen bed plus a trundle bed to sleep two more. Studio two has a king bed which can convert to two twins, plus a double futon to sleep two more. The two units together can sleep eight.

The Girasol, Salvia, Carisa, and Palma condominiums are the only Cancun condominium complexes located at the point of the island within walking distance to over 40 restaurants, four shopping centers, numerous nightclubs, convention center, etc. Most other condo complexes are 25 minutes away by bus from this most desired location of all Cancun.

Our condominium is located on the sixth level of the OCEANFRONT Girasol building. This is not an apartment building or hotel, but a real condominium building on the best beach in Cancun.

We have the very best location and beach on the gorgeous island of Cancun. Walk to Sr. Frogs, Hard Rock Cafe, Carlos 'n Charlies, the best nightclubs, restaurants, and shopping centers! This is ten kilometers closer to the center of activities than the Brisas, Cancun Plaza, Solymar, or Royal Solaris condominiums. That means more time for playing rather than riding in a taxi or bus to get where you want.

There is no need to rent a car when you stay at this condominium project. It is within walking distance of most of the restaurants and shopping centers on the island. There are plenty of excellent restaurants and also inexpensive fast food restaurants nearby. If you do not want to walk, buses will take you anywhere in the city or on the island for approximately 65 cents. They come by every few minutes on the boulevard right in front of the condominium.

Airport Transfers: Private Suburban will take you directly to the front door of our condominium and is available for a charge of approximately $9.00 (United States) per person from the airport.

    • we rented the condos for spring break and it was awesome, it was the perfect spot. we had friends who stayed farther down the island in one of the big new hotels and they liked the hotel, but hated being there, they kept having to take taxis to get to where we were so we could all go out. the pools were good, the restaurant was okay, the beach was great! the girasol building was okay, not super nice, but our rooms were good.

    • For my and my husband, this was just what we were looking for. Inexpensive, nicely furnished, and RIGHT on the beach. We rented studio condo 612-1, which is on the beach side, with a big balcony that looks over the ocean. Gorgeous view! The condo had everything we needed. For us, the TV and internet were a big selling point. Being self-employed, we have to take our work with us on vacation, so it was nice to be able to stay in touch. Before we left for our vacation, the condo owners mailed us some papers with tips on how to use the bus system, where to buy food, how to exchange money, etc. We took those papers with us, and they really came in handy. We found Wal-Mart the first day, no problem, and stocked up on food. We ate most of our meals in the condo and went out for dinner. We went out to a different restaurant every night, visited a few of the clubs, and walked to everything! You really can't top the location. As you drive around the island, you can see that some places are still recovering from the hurricane. We were glad we were in the Girasol, rather than some of the other buildings. The Girasol is probably about 95% repaired. The building is not brand-new and shows wear (although inside our condo was great). The kiddie pool had been damaged in the hurricane, and they were fixing it while we were there. Also the windows in some of the units at the other end of the building still needed to be replaced. But our unit was 100%. All in all, a great romantic week away from the kids!

    • Great vacation, great value! We rented both units 612-1 and 612-2, and were overall very pleased with our trip. The condos were both clean, the kitchens definitely came in handy when feeding a family of 5, and the kids absolutely loved the beach and the use of the belly boards. The owner was very knowledgeable about the area and gave us a lot of good suggestions for restaurants, shopping, and even a trip to Chichen Itza. We would definitely stay at the Girasol again, and would definitely stay in one of Mike's units.

    • My son and I stayed in 612-2 the week of 2/20/06 through 2/27/06. The unit had everything we needed and was clean. The view was great, and it was nice to have breakfast on the balcony every morning. Mike and Janet are great to work with, and are very efficient and helpful. If you view the pictures on the website, you won't have any surprises. Mike represents these units exactly as they are. I typically like to stay in upper scale hotels/condos, but by the 3rd day or so, I was convinced this was the place I'd stay again if we came back down here. It is a great location, and does have the best beach and waves around. The staff at the front desk and restaurant were great too, and provided great service. The food is good too. What more can I say? Great place - reserve your spot now.

    • Mike was great to work with and very helpful! His units are clean and well maintained. The veiw is gorgeous! We stayed in 612-2 the week of 1-16-06. Great central location. The building needs a little work, but it was clean and Mike's units were exceptional. Would rent again!

    • our family rented ph4,ph10 and studio 612-2 for the week of jan 15-22 2006...we were all extremely satisfied with all the units...they were clean,in good condition and very convenient to all the activities...the elevator worked fine and the beach outside the hotel was the only beach we could see either way of the condos...the area around the hotel is cleaned up nicely and we could see progress every day around us...would definitely rent again

    • I was part of the group/family that rented ph4,ph10 and studio 612-2 for the week of Jan 15-22 2006... My boyfriend and I stayed in studio 612-2, with one other couple. Plenty of room for the four of us. We even had room to unpack for a week. Nice!!! We were all extremely satisfied. It was like you had all the amenities of home, plus extras. Boogie Boards, Satellite T.V. Full kitchen, microwave, toaster oven, blender etc. The room was very clean and in good condition. Location was very convenient to all the activities... I look forward to visiting again, and would definitely rent again!! -Regretfully back in AZ, but hey, It's a dry heat! -Angela Davis & Mark Erickson
