Our stay in this La Jolla home was perfectly delightful. The location was fantastic and my husband and I took advantage each morning of the ½ block walk to the coast to watch the surfers and get in our own walk along the water. The house had been updated, both kitchen and bathrooms, and the front deck with the comfortable patio furniture was such an added bonus. We had our morning coffee there and our evening glass of wine after watching the beautiful sunset. The neighborhood was extremely quiet and we always felt very safe and secure. This little bungalow will definitely be on our “keeper list” of places to revisit.

We had an amazing time and the beach house was terrific. It was everything we could have hoped for. Perfect for a family and so much better than staying in a hotel. Being less than a 2 minute drive to the Cove and one block from the best surfing beach in San Diego was ideal. We did not want to leave. The accommodations were perfect, with more than adequate kitchen space, hot tubs, and we absolutely loved the front porch and hammock. 5 stars and we can’t wait to visit again.

I did a lot of research before picking this lovely little home in La Jolla. I wanted a house close to the beach, with enough space for the four of us (two adults, two children) and within walking distance to the many shops and restaurants of La Jolla. This quaint little cottage fit the bill. About one block to the beach, lots of surfing and good dog walking opportunities, and only a 10 minute walk to some great restaurants. The front deck area was a great place to relax and have coffee or a glass of wine. The house was equipped with more than enough supplies for all of our needs. I have never encountered so many towels in a place before!!! Those did come in handy though, with all of our trips to the beach, not to mention the private hot tub in the back yard which we enjoyed very much. More than likely, if we ever go back to La Jolla, we will stay here again.

We had a wonderful vacation, it couldn't have been better (well maybe if it was longer). The house was adorable, comfortable and homey. Everything we needed such as a 7-11, coffee shop, local bar, and of course beach were right there. Also renting was incredibly easy through Vanessa and I was pleased because I can't stand hassle when trying to vacation. Thanks for giving us a great stay!! Lindsey

We loved our stay at this Nautilus home. Gorgeous location with a wonderful 2 bed 2 bath place to go along with it. We we're thrilled with the comfy beds, great front yard and comfortable layout. Wind and Sea beach is gorgeous and it's a 2 min walk to the beach from this home. We will be booking here again next year. Thanks for your sushi recommendation it was great! Till next year, Bucklers

Thank you for the most wonderful stay at 370 Nautilus way. This past week has been perfect in every way. With such close proximity to the beach it was easy for us to stroll down with the kids at our leisure and especially enjoy the sunsets with our dog. We found some lovely little places close by to eat, including a little Bistro that served the best salmon salad and Prepkitchen that made the most delicious salads. Of course for the girls, taking a walk up to the local ice ream store quickly became their favorite venture. We found very little need for a car except for our trips to Coronado beach where we enjoyed the doggy beach. Our only fatal mistake was heading out on Sunday as return parking can be difficult. However needless to say it was no problem finding parking up the street with a short walk home. The home was comfortable and well equipped with everything needed for a relaxing stay. Just as much as we enjoyed the beach, we enjoyed sitting on the patio reading a book and watching the locals stroll by. We only wish that we could have stayed longer and are looking forward to returning. Thank you for sharing this lovely home with us.

After being accommodated at very short notice we were pleasantly surprised. This quaint cottage just step’s from the beach is a perfect vacation rental. For a family of five, which includes 3 young girls, and a small dog there is ample room both in doors and out. Many hours were spent just relaxing on the patio enjoying the sea breeze and watching the locals stroll by. Stores and restaurants are nearby that we rarely needed to drive anywhere. This beautiful home has everything you need for a perfect day at the beach or a day at home. Definitely prefer this to a hotel. This is the most relaxing vacation we have had in years. Our family could not be happier. Would highly recommend this location and would love to return. Michael & family

Stayed for the week in this cute little tropical themed house which is ideally located - lots of stuff within walking distance. We did much park hopping which was all within a reasonable time driving - farthest was under 2 hours to Disney and legoland was maybe 40 minutes the rest were within 10-15 minutes- SeaWorld, San Diego Zoo, Belmont Park (wave riders for those brave enough to try boogie boards or surfing!), Legoland and the adjacent new SeaLife Park is fun for kids 12 and younger, we also did the Disneyland and California Adventure Park which are adjacent to each other as well for kids all ages. If park hopping isn't your bag try to go into San Diego and get dessert at the Extraordinary Desserts - wow! If that doesn't interest you the beach is literally a minute and a half of walking down street where you can watch the surfers out almost every day. My kids (14 & 11) loved the hot tub and the hammock - and the beds were very comfortable! Overall a nice experience and I would stay again. Only real complaint is the parking - although if you park after the beach goers leave you can usually find a spot close by. Overall a very nice experience

The location of this spot in premo. You can literally walk out the door, up a block and you are sitting along the beach watching the local surfers grab some fierce waves. And what majestic sunsets.........It is very laid back, away from the crowds of the touristy beaches. Great local flavor. It is close to everything, restaurants, groceries, and shopping; but you don't feel crowded by it all. The owner is very accommodating and on property. We would definitely go back. This spot proves that the La Jolla area can be reasonable and a wonderful experience. Rental Property and Restaurant Owners from Little Rock, Arkansas Lyne

My parents from Germany and my husband and I stayed at this cozy home for 10 days and had a wonderful time. The awesome vegetation around the house gives you extra joy including the hammock nestled in them. The house itself is spacious and has all the accommodations you need, just as if you were at home. The remodeled bathroom is a jewel in itself and let's not forget the brand-new hot tub that we enjoyed thoroughly. To top it off, the beach is really only a two-minute walk away, so you can easily take an early morning walk or enjoy the sunset after dinner. Hopefully we will be able to stay there again!
