This is the third time our family has chosen to stay at this property. It is superb!! The owners think of every last detail and are so helpful with any questions or assistance with local needs. We love that when we come back each year, it is obvious that they continue to improve and improve! We thoughts the beds and sheets were wonderful the first time, yet they seem to get better and better. I swear I sleep better here than when I am home!! It is like home, only on vacation!!! The pool is so great and the kids just love hanging out, chatting, splashing. Cloverdale is a little diamond in the rough and we feel blessed to call it home for one week a year!! Thank you to the owners for making this the best week every year for our family.

This property exceeded all expectations. The pictures are good but certainly do not do this property any justice. It is just lovely. The rooms are all large and spacious and the yard is a wonderful retreat. The owners were very sweet and helpful. We walked downtown to the charming little downtown Cloverdale music event and farmers market. The weather was very warm during the daytime but the evenings were like nothing we had every experienced before, incredible. Healdsburg is only 15 minutes on the highway to the South. We had initially wanted to be in Healdsburg but after having visited and seen first hand what a zoo that town is on the weekends, were very relieved that we found Cloverdale. There were more wineries within a short drive from the house than we had ever imagined. We had not been to this part of Sonoma County in over 10 years and I honestly could NOT believe how it has changed. It is amazing. Highly recommended. We will certainly be back.

I have traveled the world and been on too many vacations...and this is in my top 2!!! This home was so perfect for a small family or group. Every ammenity you need is there. The owner was INCREDIBLY helpful in helping plan my vacation. They had specific recommendations for winery tours and places to visit. Even people in town said we were given great advice. It was amazing. We cant wait to book this again for next year. I use VRBO all the time and this home tops my list. I 100% recommend it.

ABUNDANCE OF CHARACTER AND CHARM

The Farmhouse was everything as advertised and more. We couldn't have asked for a more perfect setting for the events that preceded our daughters wedding, the day of and day after the wedding, it was perfect!! The bedrooms were very comfortable, there was more than enough room for social gatherings, the kitchen is well equipped to prepare meals. Upon arrival we found the Farmhouse to be very clean and well maintained and would highly recommend this vacation home to anyone looking for a site that makes you feel right at home. Stephanie was very responsive to questions and concerns prior to our arrival. We enjoyed our stay very much and look forward to visiting again in the future.

Feels Like Home

We rented this home for a dual birthday celebration with family. At first we were concerned with the location of the home, being that it's in Cloverdale which we knew nothing about. As soon as we pulled into the circular driveway our concerns melted away. The first thing we noticed was the abundance of roses and flowers, and the air smelled of orange blossoms. The home is spacious, comfortable and allowed for easy walks into town. Cloverdale is small-town America, we felt very safe walking late at night and enjoyed the local restaurants. We also took advantage of the walking path along the river every morning before breakfast. And it's a short distance to everything that the wine country has to offer. Our only drawback to the home was that we could have used another bathroom with 10 of us staying there, otherwise the property is a charming comfortable base for your wine country vacation.

30th Birthday Weekend

My friends and I rented the Dominichelli Farmhouse for my 30th birthday weekend. Having only viewed the home through the website, we were thoroughly impressed with how well the photos depicted the house. It is an absolutely beautiful home with comfortable beds and bedding, beautiful hard wood floors, and an amazingly relaxing hot tub. It provided more than enough room for me and my guests and gave everyone a sense of privacy/ relaxation for the weekend. Stephanie Dominichelli was more than accomodating in making sure that were comfortable and satisfied with our stay. Thanks again Stephanie!

A crew of fun and young runners and spectators rented the Farmhouse for the "Desintation Healdsburg Half Marathon" during Halloween weekend. The large dining room was perfect for our group rendezvous and yummy home cooked AND grilled meals. The hot tub, gorgeous pool and porches were picture perfect. The kitchen amenities were plentiful and the great number of sleeping accommodations/bedrooms were ideal for us. We definitely want to return soon! Thank you Domenichellis!

We had a group of 9 stay at the house in April. Although it was a rainy weekend, it was a great weekend. We were greeted with fresh lemons and clementines from Stephanie and a beautiful cozy home. Although we had a lot of activities planned, we ended up cancelling many of them and just staying in the house enjoying each others company. We will definitely return. Thanks for everything!

Stephanie and Steve what a fantastic house you have! It was the perfect place for a girls weekend getaway. We all needed it. The beds so comfy, to hot tub so relaxing right in wine county. What a wonderful house. The pictures do not do it justice. Our 2 small children had a great time in the pool and the play set outside. The whole yard is fenced in with the pool fenced separately which brings a piece of mind with little ones playing outside. Stephanie checked on us frequently and was extremely helpful.

My husband and I, along with our families spent a long weekend at the Domenichelli Farm House and had our wedding reception in the back yard. We could not have chosen a better place to enjoy time with our families and celebrate our wedding. The home is absolutely gorgeous and stocked with everything a guest could possibly need. The pool was certainly a focal point and our nieces and nephews put the play area to good use. We plan to make the Domenichelli Farmhouse an annual family reunion destination. Thanks!!!!

We were lucky enough to find this wonderful property through the referral of our wine club associates. It came highly recommended because of the owner's wonderful attention to detail, the cleanliness of the howe, and her ability to plan out our entire wine country itinerary. Stephanie was amazing and by far the most helpful person we have ever experienced on our many visits to the area. She was always there, answering the phone, suggesting restaurants, and anything else we needed. She made our stay perfect in every way! We will definitely be back a look forward to sending all of our friends and family to stay here.

First off, I'm jealous the last post got to stay here for 2 months! Would have loved to do that myself, but will save that for retirement....someday. The Farmhouse was much more than we anticipated - the pictures are gorgeous, but seeing it was a whole different world. A relaxing world my friends and I had a hard time leaving. The house is warm and inviting; we enjoyed spending a lot of time on the porch chatting, as well as soaking in the hot tub. We had the chance to go wine tasting - Preston and Hanna were our two favorites, and we also had a great time at Alexander Valley. Grapes and Grounds does an excellent breakfast sandwich and the food at La Hacienda was delicious! Stephanie and Steve - kudos on a beautiful and warm home. We hope to make it back at some point, and I've already recommended the Farmhouse to other friends and my family. Best, Collette & friends

A gracious victorian home that was an ideal place to relax with a crowd attending a wedding. The home is fully outfitted so there is no need to bring anything except your clothes. We and our friends will, hopefully, return soon.

Our stay at the Domenichelli Farm House for 2 months (yes, us lucky dogs) exceeded our expectations of the area, people, location and comfort of the home. We ate at the restuarants recommended in the in-house binder, twice at Cena Luna and Santi, gained 5 pounds each. And we are now looking for property because the orange and lemon trees in the backyard are hard to give up!!!!! Montana will be home for a few more years but winter in Cloverdale/Healdsburg got our hot button. A very nice lady at the local bookstore (Cloverdale) recommended books on the local area and family histories of various wineries. Check it out if you are a front porch reader. Wine tasting arranged by our hosts was a delight. Loved the small town atmosphere. Who needs Napa/Sonoma when you can stay at the Domenichelli Farm House in Cloverdale!!!

Every winter we have a reunion with a handful of my husband's fraternity brothers and their wives. 2007 was our turn to host. Our December stay at your lovely home was wonderful. The house was decorated and big enough for the 8 of us. We enjoyed the hot tub too. Dined at Zin in Healdsburg (very yummy) and went to some local wineries: our faves were Ferrari-Carano and Pedroncelli. Also attended Mazzocco's Holiday Open House for members. Fabulous Zins! Be sure to visit Iron Horse Vineyards for a fabulous flight. We want to stay at the farmhouse again when we can enjoy the porches and pool! Thank you Stephanie!

We had a fantastic time in your beautiful home. The place was spacious, beautiful and the beds were very comfortable. We were getting married in Healdsburg and it was the perfect way for our families to spend time together. The house is beautiful. All the bedrooms are lovely. My 8 girlfriends and I stayed at Stephanie's house for 3 nights to celebrate my cousins upcoming wedding. We loved the house, decor and attention to detail. We had dinner at Piacere where the owners joined us and the food was fabulous. We went wine tasting with 5 star Limo (Rich) and had a wonderful, personal day per Stephanie's reccomendation. We went to Ferrari, Bella, Seghesio, Sebrasia..all wonderful. We ordered in from Simply Thai and were very impressed with authentic thai. I highly reccomend Stephanie's home to anyone looking for a home away from home in the beautiful wine country!!

We stayed at the Domenichelli home in August. There were 7 adults,2 twin babies, a 2 year old, and a 5 year old...and yes, there was PLENTY of room for everyone. We were there for a family reunion and we stayed for 1 week. What a perfect location to Healdsburg, Santa Rosa and wineries. We were so thrilled and delighted with EVERYTHING. It seems redundant to mention all the positive attributes of the home because everyone has already commented on them. Whatever has been said, multiply by 10...it was that spectacular. We really didn't want to leave!!! Stephanie was tremendous in every way and there was nothing she missed. (Thanks so much Stephanie) We will definately be back!!

This house is truly wonderful! It’s conveniently located near great wineries, but not in a touristy area. We felt at home from the minute we got there. The house has plenty of room to spread out (we had four females, so each got her own room). The kitchen had everything we needed to make meals at the house – which left us more money for buying wine! And we really enjoyed having dinner on the covered back porch and relaxing by the fire pit or in the hot tub at night. Stephanie was great to work with and made sure we had everything we needed. Highly recommended!

We spent a wonderful five nights at the Domenichelli Farm House with two other couples who were equally thrilled with our visit and your home. We were in the "Wine Country" to share in the bottling of our sons wine label. A great moment - it was an added benefit to be able to travel to all the beautiful winerys. We ordered food from a local Restaurant called Mary's Pizza Kitchen for an investors gathering and ate one night at Piacere just across the street and had a great meal. We loved the pool and especially the porch off the kitchen. We also thought Healdsburg was a great little town. Thank you for a wonderful trip and all the help Stephanie gave us to visit the winerys. Where do I begin! We just had the most wonderful and memorable few days at the Domenichelli Farm House! It far surpassed our expectations. My daughter, Kristin, was participating in the Vineman Triathlon and doing the half ironman in memory of her Dad, my husband, Steve. She was running with the Leukemia and Lymphoma's Team in Training. Your home just "wrapped us in love". My son, my nieces and their families all stayed at your beautiful home. There was plenty of room for everyone! We loved the huge kitchen ... where we had fun preparing food ... your side porch was a favorite place for us to gather and share meals every night ... and, of course, the pool was a welcome relief from the 90 degree plus days. Your location couldn't be more perfect ... with so many beautiful vineyards so close by to visit. We truly felt as if we were "home" in your farm house ... and thank you for all of the little details that made us feel that way, from lush poolside towels to lovely decorated rooms. Staying in your home only made our emotional and special trip out west even that much more memorable.I will hold my time in Sonoma Vally as one of the most special times in my life. The owners were so sweet and accomodating. We called them several times throughout our stay to ask for directions, reservations, winery tours, etc. and they also answered and steered us in the right direction. We had a small get together with some very PARTICULAR friends (sorry guys!) who were staying at different (very expensive) places in Healdsburg and they were all jealous. The pool and yard were just so relaxing, clean, perfect! The house is stocked with everything and then some. We loved the location because we were able to walk to eat and drive to almost anywhere we wanted within minutes. We DO love Healdsburg and have only stayed there in the past, but I have to say, Cloverdale really impressed us. The locals were very nice, it was far less crowded with tourists, there were a few really great places to eat, and it was literally only a 12-15 minute drive into Healdsburg. We stayed last time at a vacation rental that was in the Healdsburg zip code, but it was over 20 minutes out in the country, up a windy dusty country road. I prefer the beautiful drive down the Hwy101. We will definitly be back and would recommend this home to ANYONE! Don't miss out!

What an incredible weekend. We were there with family who came from Florida, Seattle, Cape Cod and San Francisco. We were supporting my cousin who ran the Vineman for the first time, in honor of her incredible father who passed away in January of this year. Your home provided a wonderful place for us to gather, relax, cook, laugh and enjoy priceleses time together. It was a weekend I will always cherish, not only because of time with my family, but because of the incredible surroundings. The home is spectacular. Everyone had a bedroom and more space than they could ever want. We ate all our meals outside on the beautiful deck, lounged in the pool, walked and ran throughout cloverdale, tasted wine just a few miles up the road... what a perfect place and a perfect location. THank you for the gift of a weekend we'll never forget!

DITTO...DITTO...DITTO (the great comments posted below) We also have re-booked for next summer! This summer we were 3 couples (from across the country), next summer we will include our kids. So much to do - we bicycled (each day a different area), wine tasted (yum), ate incredible food, and went exploring. After all of it, to come back to a PERFECT place to just enjoy and relax! And Cloverdale was a perfect jumping off point to Sonoma, Napa and Mendocino.

I had a 40th birthday celebration at the Domenichelli House during the last weekend in June, 2007. Everything was perfect: The house. There are three very large and comfortable bedrooms upstairs as well as a den with large futon couch and a porch off of that. The master bedroom downstairs was massive and very comfortable. In my party we had 4 couples in the bedrooms and two kids on the futon couch. There is only one bathroom upstairs, but it is very large (it has a shower, double vanity, and a large whirlpool bathtub). All of my guests were really happy with the accomodations. The yard was probably my favorite part of the house. The pool is gated and has plenty of lawn furniture for sunning yourself. The hot tub was very easy to use and we took advantage of it every night. There is a large deck just off of the kitchen. We didn't eat a single meal inside the house. We could have, there was plenty of space in the dining room, but the porch was so spacious that we set up buffet tables (provided by the hosts) and easily sat 18 outside. It's difficult to describe how roomy this house is. There are two front rooms (one a sort of parlor and the other more ike a separate living room). We barely spent any time in those rooms since the outdoors was so appealing. Overall we found this to be a fantastic vacation rental. I would strongly recommend it to anyone looking for a place to just relax in a spacious, comfortable home.

The Domenichelli home was by far and away the most amazing vacation rental we've stayed in. The house is incredibly decorated and spacious, has beautiful landscaping, and has an amazing pool and hot tub. To top it off, the house is just a short walk to downtown Cloverdale and wonderful restaurants. I can't say enough good things about our experience!

We had an absolutely fabulous stay at the Domenichelli Home in Cloverdale. We were a large group and were genuinely surprised with how well stocked the house was with bedding, towels, kitchen needs, etc. The owners went out of their way to help with wine tours, tastings, reservations, etc. The welcome wine, bread and cookies were truly appreciated. All in all it was a wonderful stay and we will definitely make it back up there soon.

We completely enjoyed our stay in this lovely home. Everything was perfect. The beds and bedding were all delicious. The kitchen was stocked with EVERYTHING you could ever need to prepare a major dinner. The owners were so generous and helped with everything from directions, to winery tours, dinner reservations and incredible babysitters! The location of the house was very central and close to everything. We fell in love with the charming town of Cloverdale and suppose we will never stay in Healdsburg again. It was so quiet and not crowded with tourists and buses. Very lovely. We have already re-booked a week for next summer!! ENJOY!!
