We have traveled from Michigan to our Alaskan Adventure. WE just returned from Kotzebue and now enjoying Alyeska and your wonderful cabin. I'm so glad I found you on line last fall. (I( wish we had planned on staying here longer - but we've packed a lot into this trip! Bueberry bread - perfect - Thank you. I'm traveling with my husband, son and my brother: a trip of a lifetime!

We came all the way from Denali. Alyeska Hideaway was the prefect pit stop on our way to Seward. We were welcomed by Lynne' upon our arrival. Fresh blueberry bread awaited us inside our cabin...yum! Although we only stayed one night, it was the peaceful relation we needed to energize us for our journey :)

We just wantd a quiet getaway....if we wanted to go eat there were plenty of options and suggestions by the owners....It was so nice to have peace and quiet. Very relaxing and such great hosts! The blueberry bread that is waiting for you is AMAZING!!!! We will be back for another relaxing evening/weekend for sure! I can not wait to visit again! This was our third timeand have enjoyed every one!

Recommended for: Families with young children, girls getaway, romantic getaway.

Missed seeing events at Slush Cup... now w know to arrive earlier next year. Love this cozy little cabin hanging out here playing drinking games was the highlight of the trip for me :) This little place is such a great getaway hideaway". The bread was amazing! Can't wait to come back.

Perfect for a small group. Cabin was very nice and was great to come back to at the end of a long day of riding.

I love this place and this was my second time staying here, the first was March 2009. Plenty of space, wood fired stove and baked goods add a delicious touch to the cozy feel. I'll be back soon enough

Wonderful piece of heaven you have here. I am so greatful my boss found your place. I am a Palmer local who has always been fond of Girdwood and can not express just how much I love your cabin. So excited to spend the next few weeks here, wish the job I am doing was bigger so I would be here longer.

Our stay here has been excellent, we wouldn't have rather be anywhere else! WE were supposed to stay at Alyeska Hotel but they were booked and so was every place in town but then we found Alyeska Hideaway! We feel as if it was meant to be! We will definitely be back next time we're in Girdwood. Maybe we'll get delicious bread next time too! You guys have an excellent place, thank you for your hospitality!

What a perfect cabin! Thank you for all the thoughtful comforts added. It was much more than I'd imagined, you can tell it was a place created with love and care. Thank you for sharing it with us. We had a wonderful dinner celebration with our friends at the Double Musky. After 14 years of growing cabbage they finally shattered state and international records at 127 lbs! Maybe next we'll get the whole gang to stay the night. You have a beautiful small town. We miss the feel since ours has grown so fast. It was nice to have the quite we crave. Thank you! We loved the cabin and had a wonderful week in Girdwood visiting our son and his new bride. We did all the tourist things and will be back many times. Among the things we enjoyed, the train to Whittier - what a wet trip! The Conservation Center, a glacier tour, a tram trip to eat at Seven Glaciers and just lounging about.

Thank you for the lovely place to stay for our last night after 2 weeks here in the beautiful state of Alaska! WE must recommend that if your guests are here in August that they plan to go down to Homer to take a trip to see the brown bears on Katmai National park - what an experience! There were bears eating salmon within 10 - 20 feet - ABSOLUTELY FABULOUS (We used Bald Mountain Air) great people! Hope all your guests have as wonderful a time as we did!

Dear Lynne' and Patrick, Thank you for the magnificent sweet bread and for the nice and comfortable lodge! This place is great and warm and very convenient! I loved or we loved the decor and the very nice futon beds and the upstairs beds. Thanks for your wonderful black dog to come into our room! He is very friendly and adorable! Thanks for making us feel so welcome! your cabin is very cozy & comfortable. WE slept so well with teh gentle rain & for once the sun didn't wake us up! Thans for having the heat on to take the chillout - that was so inviting when we got here last night. We would love to stay longer but at the same time, after 2 wks in AK we're anxious to get back home to our small hills.

Dear Lynne', We absolutely LOVED our stay here in your cabin. It was so nice to stay in a place other than a typical hotel room. We went kayaking in Whittier, went to Portage Glacier , and had dinner at Seven Glaciers restaurant and the Double Muskey. Thank you for your hospitality - wish we could have stayed longer! Girdwood is such a lovely town.

Thoroughly enjoyed your cabin & it's flowers. Steps up front are a nice proportion - easy to climb with luggage. Enjoyed the spectacular view on our climb up Bird Ridge - 140 pictures!

We found Alyeska Hideaway to be comfortable & near Portage Glacier & a short hike to Byron Glacier. We enjoyed the Visitor's Center at Portage Glacier & we went on the 1 hr cruise to see Portage Glacier. We expecially liked the nectarines & your blueberry bread.

We felt at home right away when a personalized note that was waiting on the deck! Thank you for the warm and welcoming atmosphere. We loved Alaska and it's natural beauty. Having you know our daughter was a fun twist. We're off for a nine day motor coach adventure. Here comes another wonderful day in Alaska.
