Why the Owner Chose Centro Historico
Of the inhabited places on the earth, San Miguel is one of the easiest on the eyes. There is a quality of light here that draws artists from all over the world. We chose our particular location in San Miguel because we wanted to be near the heart of the city in the beautiful, well preserved centro, where it is illegal to build anything looking newer than 500 years old, and because of the spectacular view of the whole city and the valley below from two terraces, the master bedroom, and even the master bath!

We met when we were both living in San Miguel in 1991-92. When we returned a few years later, we were exploring the idea of buying a house in San Miguel. We went through a lot of realtors and looked at a lot of listings. Just as we were about to give up, we happened upon this house. We were hooked right away. The style (modernized colonial), the spectacular view, the compact yet spacious size, the well appointed furnishings, we fell in love and sign the papers for our dream home. We are delighted to be able to share it with you.
