Our "Getaway" is located 2/10 of a mile (easy walking or biking distance) from a wide, clean beach with lifeguards on duty. If you prefer, indoor and outdoor swimming pools are available. Try one of the other various activities within Ocean Lakes. Walking trails, playgrounds, exercise classes, arcade, or snack bar, plus a recreation center with a full schedule of programs, as well as information on nearby attractions. Ask about the fire truck ride for the kids.
After a full day of activities you may choose to either cook in or grill out, take your pick. The fully furnished kitchen and the gas grill are there for your convenience. After dinner a visit to the snack bar may be "necessary" or perhaps just relaxing on the deck. A nice stroll on the beach or watching the surf on the observation tower is always available to complete the evening. Pets are NOT allowed, No Smoking.
During your stay plan plenty of time to visit the Myrtle Beach attractions, Ripley's Aquarium, Carolina Opry, Dixie Stampede, Medieval Times, NASCAR Speedway, water parks, seafood buffets, Barefoot Landing, Broadway at the Beach, the list goes on and on. You can check with the recreation center about discount coupons while planning your days activities. For the shopper there are plenty of outlet malls, shopping centers, and unique shops close by.
