Why the Owner Chose Paso Robles
We fell in love with Paso Robles on a trip, and after a lot of soul searching we realized we had to own a home there. Our hope is to retire their sooner than later, which is why our home feels so comfortable for guests. It will be our main home some day.

My family has been spending our Thanksgiving holiday at Mojo Risin' Ranch for the last seven years. It is an absolutely beautiful home that we give thanks for each year. The home is open, airy, and extremely comfortable. It is always ready and waiting for us in pristine condition. Each year another improvement has been made when we think it can't be improved upon. We love to cook together as a family and enjoyed the fantastic new gourmet gas range in the kitchen. My husband, the grillmaster, had to be dragged from the great new grill/outdoor kitchen on the back patio area. The surrounding grounds are spacious and very private, with a small vinyard for strolling and a new relaxing hot tub. We have found all of the nearby wineries to be welcoming and wonderful. We discover new ones and revisit our favorites each year. The short drive into Paso Robles always rewards us with some excellent restaurants and fun shops. I think this location is equally inviting as a couples only getaway or a family vacation. My family has decided not to wait a year between visits and is adding a week in the summer to enjoy the pool and all of the magic that has been created at Mojo Risin' Ranch.

This is a perfect location for a base to tour the wineries of Paso and the surrounding area. It is just a great house, really comfortable and homely. The main living area is open plan which is great for groups. Indoors the house is very well equiped with everything you need, including linens and towels. The master bedroom suite is just the best, with en suite facilities and french doors onto a side patio, perfect for a relaxing breakfast 'a deux!' On top of all that the rear patio has a great outdoor kitchen, dining and sitting area which basically doubles the living space. If you are looking for some 'corporate' style vacation rental don't go here, this is the owners home where they so kindly extend an invitation for you to stay. When we next do a tour of the Central Coast this will be where we will go. Well managed well put together well just take a look around and see which way the wind blows! Fantastic.

This house was fantastic! I would highly recommend it. This may be my new annual vacation destination with my girlfriends. However, it should be noted that there were a few drawbacks to the place, which is why I'm giving it 4 stars and not 5. 1. The pool (not the hot tub) was not super inviting. There was dirt and other FOD on the bottom. The water itself seemed "clean" though. 2. There were only 8ish towels for use. Personally, I would like one for hot tub/ pool and one for showering. With 6 of us there, we were lucky some people brought extra towels. 3. My final issue was that we couldn't find the stacked wood. It would have been nice to have the outside fire going, but with only two pieces of wood to be found it was determined that starting it wouldn't be worth the effort. Everything else was great! Hot tub was clean and easy to use and the overall environment was very welcoming! While I did find a few issues (as noted above) I would not hesitate to refer this location to anyone! Overall great stay!

This house had all the amenities that made our visit very special. The house doesn't feel like a rental and was not only very comfortable, but ideally located to visit the wineries. We'll be back!
