This is a premiere, gated, active adult community sometimes better known as 'Disney World for adults' or 'A little slice of paradise' or 'Florida’s friendliest hometown'. The Villages is best known for it's on-site free nightly entertainment and dancing in The Villages two Town Squares of Spanish Springs and Lake Sumter Landing (1/1/2 miles), seven nights a week.
Beautiful, fully-furnished, Colony Villa with enhanced Florida Landscaping. Two-bedroom, two-bath, with 1200 square feet of living space, screened lanai, and a one-and-one-half car garage. It is situated in the Village of Ashland/lY. It's location is within walking distance to the Lake Miona & Ashland heated pools. Villa is also near Arnold Palmer championship golf course, country club, tennis courts, many executive courses and upscale restaurants as well as casual fun restaurants. The very close-by Southern Trace shopping center on Rt. 466 has everything you will ever need.
Sit back on the lanai and enjoy your morning coffee and breakfast. Play nine or 18 holes of golf and have lunch at at the many nearby restaurants bars and grills. Relax in one of the 30 pools and then head down to the town square for live music/dancing and happy hour every night. Dine in one of the eight country club restaurants (fine dining or casual) or one of the great restaurants on Town Square.
After dinner take in a movie. Seasonal rates vary due to the weather temperatures in Florida, but do not let weather be a factor in visiting THE VILLAGES. All amenities, recreation, and over 500 other activities are the same all year around.

Enjoyed our time in The Villages and at this property. The villa is comfortable and clean, the location terrific and the neighborhood quiet. The picture does accurately reflect the rental's appearance and amenities. Owners responded back quickly to our questions and concerns. The only suggestions we would have to improve the quality of the stay would be: replacing the living room chair which has holes in each arm, having the carpet cleaned and updating the master bedroom bed linens. We would recommend this property to a friend or relative!Recommended for: Tourists without a car, age 55+.

My husband and I stayed in the villa for 2 of the winter months in 2010 and found it to be accurately described. It was clean and well maintained and the owner was very nice to deal with. We would recommend this home rental.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+.
