Our property in located in the gated golf community of Litchfield Greens on the creek near the prestigious Wigwam Resort with its three championship golf courses, spa and tennis.This is a great place to enjoy life. The house and the area has all the anemities to help you do exactly that!! If you play golf, there are ten other golf courses in close proximity. Great restaurants and shopping available!!! Close to Glendale, Goodyear and Westgate sports(Football Stadium and Hockey Arena), restaurant and shopping complex.
The Cactus league has several new to the area major league teams for spring training(Chicago White Sox,Cleveland Indians,Cincinnati Reds,LA Dodgers). The Phoenix International Speedway for race fans, the Glendale Arena for hockey and University of Phoenix stadium for NFL football(including the Fiesta Bowl) plus a variety events and entertainment. Also the Wild Animals Park is just a few minutes away. Tennis courts, swimming pools and fitness centers(ex.Lifetime and LA Fitness,Litchfield Rec Center and YMCA) are in or near Litchfield Park.

I stayed here for a week in November 2010 with my husband, his mother & his father. The home was just as it shows in the photos. Clean, cozy and comfortable. The neighborhood was very peaceful. The owners were very friendly and hospitable even when we saw them at the local golf course. We all really enjoyed Phoenix, but our stay, the home and the owners really made our time there extra special. We would definatly recommend the Darling House!
Recommended for:Romantic getaway, people with disabilities, families with young children, girls getaway, families with teenagers, age 55+.
It doesn't get any better than this!

My wife and I stayed here from mid-August to mid-October, 2010, while waiting for our new home to be completed. The home (not house -- home!) was everything the listing described, and more. There was nothing lacking; furniture, appliances, TVs, computer, everything we could possibly need was there. We have rented a number of vacation houses, and could have stocked them all with the supplies available here. The neighborhood is quiet, and we enjoyed walking around the gated community. The home is just a short distance from restaurants and shopping. The back of the home is beautifully landscaped, abuts a stream, and is very private. The owners were the most cooperative and friendly landlords imaginable, without being intrusive; every one of our special requests was accomodated. As the title says, you can't do better than this!

Just spent a week at the "Darling House" and enjoyed it a lot. Fantastic location in gated/guarded Litchfield Greens ,a very nice upscale area. The home is tastefully appointed and is the most well stocked vacation home I have ever rented ! It is missing nothing ,really .Even bikes in the garage to ride through the sunny subdivision . The owner Lynn is a wonderful person and great to deal with. The house is a 3/2 and set on a small river area ,very serene and quiet . Nice patio with 2 sitting areas ,nicely furnished and quality bedding and linens . I would rent this house again -no problem ,just a great place in a great area - Thanks Lynn !
