When we stepped inside this beautiful home, now affectionately called Quail Run, we fell in love with it. We immediately felt the home's warm welcoming embrace, a feeling that embraces all those who enter. Quail Run, lies beyond a long, private drive and circular entry, amongst old growth junipers and fabulous grounds. A custom-home builder has planned and built this home to perfection, from an awe-inspiring view of the championship fairway to the special small touches.
Exquisite detail has been perfected throughout this spectacular, 3442-square-foot home. Quality abounds in lavish style from the dark Brazilian cherry hardwood entry to the gracious flowing staircase leading to the second floor; it is loaded with features, lots of tile, high ceilings throughout, granite tiles, slate, hardwoods, and crown molding plus coved ceilings. We took great pride in the way we decorated our home with elegance and style, and meticulous attention to comfort and quality, which accents every room of this spacious, two-story home.
The central foyer introduces a sunken living area with a cozy, slate, gas fireplace. With an eastern view of the championship fairway, drops of sunshine splash through the family, dining, and kitchen room wall of windows. Light and airy, the island kitchen with granite countertops is perfectly suited for baking goodies with the children or preparing the meals your family loves. At the center of the spacious sunken family room is a slate gas fireplace with a lot of seating where you can curl up and relax in the glow of the fire. This open and inviting, comfortable, family room with its appealing maple cabinetry houses the stereo system, surround sound equipped with a large TV, DVD/VCR. The dining room opens to the sun-drenched spacious deck, which begs for a family barbecue or plan to spend a lazy afternoon soaking up the sun, reading a good book. -Or perhaps you would prefer an evening dose of pure relaxation, than nestle yourself in a brand new Hot Spring Spa - the world's #1 selling brand of portable spas. The heart of the backyard is the championship golf course. Spacious decks maximize enjoyment of the treed golf course lot. We took great pride in the way we decorated each bedroom with finesse and style, and of course careful attention to comfort and quality. The master suite is large and lavish with gorgeous coved ceilings. After a fun-filled day of activities, walk through the double doors to the master suite, and benefit from a new, premium, king-size mattress and enjoy a comfortable good night sleep. As a crowning touch, just open the wood blinds and you will have a beautiful view of the majestic Sisters from the large bay window. Perhaps you will want to enjoy the view and the charm of our gated community from a bird's eye view from the balcony of the master suite overlooking the championship golf course and a great view of Smith Rock. The elaborate master bath has two double sinks and the beautiful expansive tiled shower has two shower heads. All of the spacious and inviting bedrooms have new premium mattresses, luxurious comforter sets, 450+ count sheets, lots of pillows, and premium mattress pads. For our group of ten adults (five couples who annually reunite in central Oregon) this was the perfect retreat. It was easy to deal with the owner and everything was in great shape on arrival. The location, spacious interior, hot tub, and seclusion well met our needs. We agreed this was the best home our group has rented, with good value and an exceptional kitchen.
Recommended for:Girls getaway, age 55+, families with teenagers.

We stayed at Quail Run as part of a family reunion with 4 families and children in attendance. It fit our needs perfectly. The large kitchen area made it possible to make meals with all sorts of family members helping out. Every night we ate out on the deck overlooking the golf course and that was a special treat. The community pool was convenient to bike over to, and everyone enjoyed the pool. The bedrooms were all extremely comfortable but the master bedroom and bathroom were especially luxurious.The hot tub was also a treat after a day's activities. Eaglecrest is a wonderful central area to use for day trips to Bend, Redmond, or Sisters. And there are a wide variety of activities within the resort area itself. We hope that we can come back to Quail Run in the future.
Recommended for:Sightseeing, adventure seekers, girls getaway, age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children.

This place is terrific!! Well appointed and oh so clean and comfortable. We were a group of eight quilters who brought our sewing machines and projects to work on for the week. The clean and spacious garage made a perfect sewing room! We had such a good time here, we've already booked it again for 2007. The hot tub hadn't been installed yet when we were here so that's a plus we haven't gotten to enjoy yet. :-) We loved the central location of Eagle Crest. Very easy to get to Redmond, Sisters, and Bend. The two hour trip to Maupin for our rafting trip wasn't bad either. Grocery shopping in Redmond and Costco in Bend was a breeze compared to the Seattle metro area. We had a problem with the air conditioner on the 4th of July and called the homeowner late that afternoon. True to their word, they had a repairman out to the house by 9:00 a.m. the following morning and the problem was taken care of immediately. Bottom line, don't hesitate ... book this place today if you're looking for a nice place to stay and a nice people to rent from. There was a welcoming note of the counter when we arrived and no delay in getting our deposit back.
