Beautiful Cabin and Wonderful Vacation!
Beautiful Cabin and Wonderful Vacation!

We stayed at the cabin in December 2010, and it was exactly what we were looking for! We were very close to the park and the conveniences of Gardiner, but had the luxury of a nice, clean, comfortable cabin with all the amenities we wanted. While we were there it snowed a good bit, but the roads were kept plowed and travel to and from the town and park was not a problem. Thank you so much for sharing your cabin with us. Winter in Yellowstone is magical!Recommended for: Families with teenagers, sightseeing, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with young children, girls getaway, adventure seekers.
Owner response: We have to agree with Jennifer that winter in Yellowstone is magical. With our cabin located only 4 miles from the only year round drive in entrance to Yellowstone it makes for an affordable and comfortable way to see Yellowstone in the winter. Plus we offer the best off season rates in Riverfront Park complex.

We had the pleasure of staying at the cabin last winter over the Christmas Holiday. The cabin was immaculate and just right for our two families who shared it. A trip into the Park is always wonderful and we like to cross country ski on the BlackTail Plateau. I would recommend this cabin and a trip to the Park in the winter.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, sightseeing, age 55+, families with young children, girls getaway.
Owner response: We would all have to agree with Cindy, that Yellowstone in winter is magical and makes for a great winter break. There is lots of family fun to be had; cross country skiing, sledding, touring Mammoth, soak in the boiling river, wildlife viewing and wolf watching. The Park has a peaceful, ethereal quality in winter that you won’t find during the tourist season. The Gardiner entrance to Yellowstone is the only one open all winter and with the cabin located only 4 miles from there, it makes for a great home base for winter excursions into Yellowstone.

I looked at several listings in this riverside cabin grouping and picked this one for its well-chosen decor, with western art, historic photos, log accents, western motif pillows, etc. It was just as pictured and perfect. Very clean, comfortable, well-equipped and with a lovely view. Very close to the Northern Entrance to Yellowstone, it was perfect for exploring the park, at far less cost than a lodge room. There is a good grocery store and restaurants and shops in Gardiner, but we ate in every night after long days in the park.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, sightseeing, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with young children.
Owner response: We thoughtfully appoint our cabin the way we like our accommodations when we travel. We believe the extra attention to detail and aesthetics are worth it. We provide beautiful decor, area specific/ historical photos and literature to immerse our guests in the Yellowstone experience. We treasure this magical place and hope our guests take that awe and inspiration with them. Safe and healthy travels, Lainie

My stay at Yellowstone Riverbend Cabin was a first rate experience. The location is exceptional, which includes the view from the cabin over the river. The access to the Park, Gardiner shops & restaurants, Chico Hot Springs, and hiking opportunities was great. The cabin is beautifully decorated. All requirements are met including a very functional kitchen, comfortable living room, confortable beds (very important) & outdoor facilities. Wildlife abounds. Overall it was a **** experienceDid you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 3/3

We hope all our guests will enjoy their stay as much as we do whenever we come to this amazing country. We have thoughtfully equipped the cabin with all the amenities we enjoy when we travel. We hope we have set ouselves apart by providing a rich array of books, maps and information about the Yellowstone area and Montana. This is truely some of the willdest and most powerfully inspiring places left in the lower 48. Soak it in. Let it fill you. Take it home in your heart and soul.Did you find this review helpful?
