"Ocean Dream"...This 6th floor newly renovated corner unit is ready for your arrival. Open the front door and immediately you are welcomed to a full oceanfront gorgeous view...looks like the lanai drops right off into the water from where you are standing... tiled floors throughout, new furniture and every amenity thought of. Plantation shutters on every window and access to lanai from living room and both bedrooms.
Grab the wine glass or coffee mug and head out to the fully screened lanai (bugless viewing is a must even on the 6th floor). Watch the pelicans and birds fly so close you can almost touch them.
Sit in the brand new lanai furniture and you won't want to ever leave. Well, for you fishermen you might want to try the wide array of charters located just minutes from your seat on the lanai...after all, Islamorada is "The Fishing Capitol of the World"! Wanna drink after the Dolphin show? Wander over to Holiday Isle's world famous Tiki Bar known for their Rum Runners.
There is also snorkeling, diving, kayaking, jet skiing, parasailing and sunset cruises.
Do you want a relaxing evening? Head on down to Morada Bay Restaurant and plant yourself in an Adirondack chair in the sand with a cocktail, listening to island music overlooking the bay watching as the sun slips beyond the horizon.
Your "Ocean Dream" condo beckons you back to the moon on the water as you slip off to a luxurious nights sleep on soft linens. Both bedrooms have oceanfront views, king beds (guest can be converted to twins) with full access to the lanai. Each bedroom has it's own bathroom.
Grab a beach towel (plenty provided) and head down to the heated pool or grab the tennis racquets and have a game on the oceanfront court.
Want to spend a few hours on the beach with some water toys? Founders Park is 3 miles south on the bayside with plenty to do...great beach, soccer fields, baseball, skateboard park, olympic pool, swings, marina and walking trail.
Shopping is also fun at the many boutiques up and down Rt 1...Our condo sits 1/4 mile off of Rt 1 so no NOISE at all...very quiet, peaceful location with only the occasional flapping of birds wings as they fly close enough to almost touch....I already said that!! Oh, did I mention you don't have to go very far for your groceries-supermarket 1 mile north, movie theater there as well. Supermarket has a redbox for movie rentals...you can watch on the new flat screen TV with DVD player.
Your "Ocean Dream" has everything you need (even hairdryers and straightening iron) and fully equipped for even a gourmet cook....plenty of wine glasses if you cook with wine!! Which I always do...
The sad part is leaving, but at least there is a glass elevator so you can catch one last glimpse of the ocean before you depart. Then you will get on the phone and book "Ocean Dream" again for your next trip to the beautiful and eclectic Florida Keys!! Hurry Back

Why the Owner Chose Islamorada
Quiet, peaceful location with the most unbelievable ocean views. We love our updated unit...it is impeccably clean with tile floors throughout. We are in a good location for shopping, food stores and restaurants without having to travel far, as alot of people do in the Keys. I love being down there for the full moon as it glistens on the ocean and lights up the night. It is fun watching the birds dive for the fish and feed in the morning. We enjoy our screened in lanai, so we don't have to worry about the bugs and can leave our sliders open in cool weather. The laid back lifestyle and people are wonderful and everytime I go I totally enjoy myself. My husband loves the fishing and does morning noon and night.

Ocean Dream was comfortable, clean and had little extras like Ipod docking station and free wifi. There was access to the screened balcony overlooking the water from both bedrooms and the living area, and the pelicans "buzz the tower" all day long, It was the perfect place to eat a light breakfast. The view is gorgeous and when the tide goes out you can walk along the water's edge and see the little crabs scampering around. The pool was gorgeous! Clean, warm and plenty of chaise chairs. The parking was ample. With the spacious kitchen and table we were able to go to the (very close) grocery store and buy food for breakfast and lunch. We would usually take a "field trip" in the morning to nearby attractions such as the Wild Bird Sanctuary, Theater of the Seas, Robbies fishing/feeding the tarpon, The Eco boat tour where the marine biologist boated us around and taught us about mangroves and we saw manatees, or the Blue Hole and the search for Key Deer and wild peacocks! We would then return to the condo for lunch and spend the afternoon at the pool, then clean up (easy for all 5 of us to do with two nice size bathrooms and separate sink area) and then go out to one of the local restaurants. We went to The Pilot House with glass bottom flooring that you can see the fish in the water below, Mrs. Mac's, Islamarada Fish Company and our favorite, Lorelei where you eat right on the beach just to name a few! Key largo and Islamarda are breathtaking and have their own vibe: relaxing and natural. Ocean Dream was the perfect place to stay and experience it all! Now that I wrote this I want to go right back!

We spent ten days in this lovely condo. It was exactly as advertized and the pictures show exactly what you will see when you open the door. One exception would be the view...pictures dont do it justice. We enjoyed the pool after a day of site seeing and fishing. We found some wonderful restaurants, some even included the best sunsets you'll ever see. The hardest part was finding the energy to pack after such a relaxing vacattion. The owner was super to deal with and was helpful in every regard.

We just returned from our second trip to Islamaroda in 8 months and our first stay in the "Ocean Dream" condo and it won't be our last. Thank you for sharing your slice of Keys Paradise! The condo was immaculate and had all the amenities we needed and the view was amazing. It was very convenient to nearby restaurants and grocery stores and the only negative part was having to leave.

We had a wonderful stay at this oceanfront condo. Great sunrise view. Very quiet setting at the end of a point overlooking the water. The interior of the unit has been tastfully and pleasantly updated. The owner was very prompt and pleasant in all dealings. We would definitely recommend this property. The location is very convenient for diving the upper keys.

We had an excellent stay in this condo, which was perfect for our family of four. The views of the ocean, point, property and pool were magnificent, and we enjoyed heading out on the porch with morning coffee or to read a book. The apartment was clean and had clearly been prepared for guests -- with wash cloths bundled into scrolls and new scented soap put out. In addition, the place is very well equipped: steak knives, 4-slice toaster, blender, plenty of tupperware and wine glasses, a cutting board -- in other words, so many of the things that are often lacking in a rental. The amenities included some steel drum CDs and several games, as well as a ping pong table downstairs. We also headed downstairs with our laptop to use wifi there. I missed it on occasion in the apartment, but it did lead us to "disconnect" more from the world at home and kept the kids off the computer all week. The pool is lovely, and we especially liked the tiki huts that surround it and make it possible to enjoy the poolside area even when it's hot out. We would definitely go back again!!

The view, condo furnishings, cleanliness, ease of dealing with owner, all exceded my expectations. The location is a great base for touring the keys, so much to see and do, one week almost isnt enough. Grocery store close by, Snorkeling and fishing abound. Nice pool, no chair savers. Screened lanai nice for bugless viewing of the sunrise, birds, fish jumping, boats,kayaks, & the moon shimmering off the water. Good breeze there most of the time too, saw an awsome storm one night, lightning show!! Very comfortable unit, easy vacation.

This is a GREAT condo. Everything is as it looks in the pictures, except that the balcony view pictures can't convey how PRIVATE and BEAUTIFUL the view is, day or night. We are a family of 4 (parents + two daughters, age 11 and 12), and it was perfect for us. They had their bathroom and we had ours, the pool was great, the tennis courts were great, and we did a private cookout in one of the Tiki Huts on the beach. It was in a convenient area by car, and (we walk as a family) there were even a few eateries within walking distance. It was a memorable and fabulous trip, and we are planning to return.

We loved our stay at this location. It was attractively decorated and most of all super clean!!! The owner had everything there that we needed. The views were amazing!! We watched sunrises and sunsets from the screened porch. It was convenient to stores and great restaurants. The pool and tennis courts on the property were a plus and we used both! The owner had great communication with us and was delightful to deal with. I would recommend staying here!!!

We have rented this condo for the past five years and consider it our home away from home. The view is spectacular & there is always a breeze on the 6th floor. The condo is clean & comfortably furnished. The entire property is clean & well maintained. If you enjoy just relaxing-this is the place!!
