Great Location - Awesome Apartment
My wife and I have stayed in numerous apartments over the years throughout Rome. Flaminio is our favorite by far. The location is great - near the metro and major sights - just 10 minutes to the Spanish Steps. It is quiet! The location is away from major streets and even with the windows open at night the neighborhood is very peaceful. The apartment is well appointed with everything we could hope for in terms of our needs - fully equipped kitchen, adapters and multi tap plugs for all of our chargers, thick and absorbent towels and handy maps and guidebooks. Five of us stayed there and found it to be quite ample in space and amenities. For us the highlight was the terrace. It was a great place to put up out feet and enjoy a glass of wine after a day of touring. Another highlight of the apartment is the doorman. Lucky was wonderful and always very helpful - always a smiling face and a kind word. I would definitely recommend this apartment to friends and family. Italy Perfect delivered what was promised!

Extremely comfortableGuest comment entered by manager
The Flaminio property, a large two-bedroom, two-bath apartment filled with light was extremely comfortable, attractive and well cared for. Check-in was easy and the owner was lovely and easily accessible. The apartment is on an upper floor, like a penthouse, and the building has an elevator. The location was perfect. You are right near the spectacular and bustling Piazza Del Populo, with its fountains, churches, a great Caravaggio painting and cushy cafes yet just outside the piazza in a peaceful, prosperous neighborhood served by tram and Metro lines. Its a 15-20 minute walk to the Pantheon - although you'll want to take two hours stopping, looking and eating - and a metro stop or two from the Vatican. The apartment itself has a spacious wrap-around terrace that's perfect for breakfasting outside or cocktails and the interior public areas, the living room and kitchen are spacious and comfy. Most important, the beds are in very good condition, the linens are plentiful and the bathrooms well set up, so that once you are back from running around Rome you can truly relax. Small food stores are nearby on the Via Flaminia for basic and more than basic needs, a bevy of neighborhood lunch and coffee places are right at hand and there is a market on certain days of the week about 10 minutes walk from the apartment.

Wonderful week in RomeGuest comment entered by manager
Wonderful week in Rome
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Rome and the Flaminio apartment. The pre-planning info provided by Italy Perfect made the trip go smoothly. We used the car service suggested and were very pleased. All transfers went like clockwork. The doorman at Flaminio helped us get into the apartment and gave us a great orientation. The apartment is as advertised and it looks exactly as shown in the pictures. The area is busy during the day and quieter at night. We always felt safe even walking to the apartment after dark. I would not hesitate to reserve this apartment again. It's a few blocks walk to "real" restaurants. We were so tired at the end of each day we picked up "take-away" at some of the small eateries nearby. Most were OK but definitely not the better restaurants in Rome. There is a good gelato shop on the walk from the subway to the apartment--stopped many times! We will definitely check Italy Perfect properties first for future trips!

It really is perfect
Truly perfect. We were greeted by Lucky the doorman. He was friendly and helpful with directions to food market close by. The apt itself is very comfortable. Impeccably clean. All appliances worked. Quality linens. The bed was very comfy. Love the wrap around terrace. Although a couple of blocks from bustling Pza del Popolo, the apt is in a quiet area of the Flaminio neighborhood. Metro is just a couple of blocks away, easy to get anywhere from this location. There is a nice Punto supermarket on via della Frezza down via del Corso just on the other side of Pza. el Popolo. If you are going to use the Mr Coffee type coffee maker the only place we found that sold coffee filters was Castroni's on Via Flaminia. Try Osteria del Tempo Perso in via della' Oca, the first side street off via Ripetta just on the other side of Popolo. Excellent meals, priced right. Apt owners are very friendly and easy to deal with and the reservation/payment process very convenient. Definitely recommend staying here. We will return.

Fabulous propertyGuest comment entered by manager
The apartment was exacting as advertised. Clean, great location, easy access in/out. This was our first time to Rome and first time our 2 daughters (13,15) have traveled to Europe. The apartment worked out perfect. We stayed at the Rome Cavelari Waldorf Hotel upon our arrival for 2 days. Fabulous property, relaxed at the pools, restaurant, great service, great view. Great place to get over jet lag. Weather was perfect so that helped. We could easily walk to the Piazza del Popolo from apartment. There are great restaurants & shops throughout the streets off Piazza del Popolo. Best part of working with Italy Perfect, was the recommendation of our guide. She was amazingly kind, knowledgeable and charmed our girls, our youngest being a pretty tough customer. She really made the trip the educational event we hoped for. Cannot say enough about how fabulous Carolina was.

Flaminio Apartment Rome
We would highly recommend Italy Perfect and the Flaminio Apartment for a stay in Rome. Italy Perfect was accommodating, easy to deal with, and had excellent customer service, including a phone call within minutes of an inquiry. The level of detailed information provided was excellent and even better than guide books! Flaminio was an excellent location. Close to the subway and within walking distance to excellent restaurants. We walked or took the subway everywhere, had no trouble at all. We dined al fresco at many places near the Piazza del Popolo and the Spanish Steps. We also enjoyed walking home through the Borghese Gardens one day. Lucky the doorman was our greeter and was very informative and friendly. The apartment was spacious, modern and very well appointed. It was a very quiet building and neighborhood. Very residential. We loved sitting on the wrap around balcony in the evening. There was plenty of closet space also. I would highly recommend this apartment to anyone thinking of staying in Rome, and would also highly recommend Italy Perfect. Thank you for a great first stay in Rome!

Would stay here again!Guest comment entered by manager
Would stay here again!
Accommodations were spacious (apart from a small kitchen), clean, quiet and odourless. We stayed in August and it was very warm (30-33ºC), such that air conditioning was left on all night (turned off during day when window shades completely closed off the windows). We ended up paying only 25 Euros extra for electricity use for 3 days stay, and it was definately worth it. It was a very quiet area, just north of Piazza del Popolo, and some of the listed grocery stores/restaurants right nearby were closed for the mid August period. We found a grocery store a bit further down past the Piazza. We were able to walk (albeit briskly at times) to all the major sights (Vatican, Roman Forum, Colosseum) all within 25-30 min, so we did not require transit or taxi. Would stay here again.

Home away from home!Guest comment entered by manager
Home away from home!
We are 2 married sisters living on each a side of the world and when it was time for one to celebrate her 50th birthday we chose Rome and after checking the internet and all the apartments that are available there, we we fell for this one. The apartment was clean, comfortable, cosy, good for 2 couples, each a bedroom and each a bathroom, not an easy thing to fine in Rome and with an elevator! alot of detail went into furnishing it and making it feel like home and it felt good coming back to it in the afternoons, opening up the terrace and relaxing with a glass of red and some good italian cheeses/salamies. The location is excellent, walking distance to alot of the "must do's" and a great little deli just around the corner that welcomed us with open arms every time we were there! We used the recommended transfer service which was nice to arrive at the apartment without any hassles. The doorman showed us around the apartment and was very helpful. Would without any hesitation, recommend this apartment and Italy Perfect, who are very professional, to anyone thinking of visiting Rome.
