We had a wonderfully relaxing time in your cabin. A cup of coffee in the morning by the fire with a soothing tune in the stereo and a couple glasses of wine with a good book at night before bed . The weather was great . Sunny one day , snow the next , rain and sun etc. Exactly what we were looking for . Time together , laughing , talking , reconnecting ! Hit a few lakes( unfortunately no luck fishing ) , a drive to Christmas valley , a couple good Mexican dinners and a little shopping in Bend . We love the smell of the pines and the crisp morning air in La Pine. It's what has kept us going to the Bend area since the 70's . If you want the hot tub and sat. T.V. , wrong place , stay in the city , but if you enjoy peace and quiet , a comfortable litttle cabin ( bigger than the pictures ) for a home base and don't mind a little housekeepng duty this is the place . Our little friend loved it too . He didn't quite know what to make of the squirrels that were almost as big as him . We rescued him from a home where he was never allowed out of his crate or harness . It was months before he was no longer afraid of grass and leaves and the hair has grown back on his chest where it had worn off from the harness .You wouldn't believe it was the same dog . Being a hound ( mini dachsund) he loved all the sights and smells of the forests . A big thank you to the owners for sharing their getaway .
Owner response:Thank you for your kind words and endorsement for our LaPine rental cabin. The tranquil scene that you described is exactly the type of experience that we hope to promote. Yes, the cabin is quaint but very comfortable with all the amenities one needs for some peace and quiet and away from a bustling place and and busy lifestyle. We are very happy that you enjoyed our cabin and Central Oregon in that light . We hope you come again.

My husband & I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the cabin in the woods! The fireplace was cozy, the kitchen fully equipped, and the overall living space perfect for our needs. The owners were fabulous to work with, the listing information is completely accurate, the property was clean & very well maintained. We look forward to going back again. The entire property is fenced & was great for our little dog. She enjoyed chasing after pinecones. The only reccomendation that I have to vacationers is to bring a bathrobe...the beautiful front door is glass...and directly down the hall from the front door is the cross hallway for the bathroom & bedroom. Enjoy your stay at this cabin! You will truly enjoy yourselves!
