Virgin Gorda is one of nature's little secrets and the Boulder House and it's cedar guest house provide a haven for you to enjoy panoramic views in all directions. You will experience these commanding views from the three decks that surround the houses as well as from every room. Each room opens to the decks where you are immersed in lush tropical gardens and views overlooking the Caribbean Sea to the West, the Atlantic Ocean to the East and the surrounding Valley and Gorda Peak. Sailboats dot the horizon in spectacular panoramic views that will take your breath away. The decks are the perfect place to absorb one of the Caribbean's fabulous sunsets as the sun fades behind the mountains of the island-dotted Caribbean.
The house takes it's name from the large boulder around which the house is built. It features two bedrooms, one with a queen bed, and one with a full bed and a twin bed. Inside, full-length louvered windows on all exterior walls permit you to fully enjoy the ever-present tropical breezes. Common areas are a combined living and dining area, a full bath and a fully equipped kitchen. The cedar guest house has an additional three bedrooms and two bathrooms if you are traveling with a larger group. We provide gas grills for your barbecue needs. Enjoy preparing a meal at your leisure and dining on your own private deck overlooking the oceans.
We will arrange for our on-island manager to greet you at the airport or ferry dock upon your arrival. You will then be escorted to our property where you will be orientated to our villa. Six mornings a week, Shirley, our domestic assistant, will provide limited daily maid service.
The three-acre hilltop setting affords a unique measure of privacy and freedom, yet is only a few minutes from any of the island's best beaches, restaurants, and shops. The hill-top is within walking distance from Spanish Town and the Yacht Harbor however, WE OFFER FREE USE OF OUR VEHICLE which truly opens up the island for your personal enjoyment.

The Boulder house and it's cedar guest house is owned and operated by the Hunter family in a partnership called Hunter Homes, Ltd. The Hunter family has made Virgin Gorda a second home for more than three decades. We love to share our homes with both newcomers as well as our regular annual visitors. For this reason, we keep our rates quite modest.
