This is a completely remodeled, non-smoking, one bedroom, one bath, ski-in ski-out, condominium at Colorado's premier Iron Horse Resort. Sleeps 6! Enjoy your stay with all of the comforts of home in one of the nicest one bedroom Condos in the Iron Horse!
The unit has a fully equipped kitchen, two TVs with built-in DVD, MP3 and VCR player, and a natural Moss rock fireplace in the living room. The kitchen is fully remodeled with new maple cabinets, slab granite counter tops and new appliances. The kitchen and bathroom have been remodeled with top of the line sinks and fixtures. The Condo has all new furniture including a bedroom set, dining room table, and sleeper sofa. Breathe in the mountain air on the private balcony. This Condo sleeps six with a queen sized bed, a new full-size pull out couch and a queen-size Murphy bed in the living room. Additional amenities include free wireless internet from our room, two humidifiers, an iron and ironing board.
THE IRON HORSE RESORT:
The Iron Horse is Winter Park's only full service resort. The Iron Horse is located at the base of the mountain between Winter Park and Mary Jane ski areas. Our quests can ski directly from the Condo to the Zephyr lift in the morning and back to the Condo for lunch or after the last chair. Enjoy on-site dining at the restaurant and bar. The resort has an indoor/outdoor pool, two hot tubs and a massage center. Enjoy the fitness center with weight room and a variety of cardio machines. Recently renovated locker rooms include a steam room locker and showers. Room service and concierge service are available. Many guests enjoy a night on the town with the convenient FREE shuttle. On-site ski and snowboard rentals are available. The Iron Horse resort offers secure underground garage parking, laundry facilities and safe deposit boxes.

Very nice unit on 2nd floor, has all you would expect. They have bellmen carts for luggage available in garage with easy access to elevator. You need an unusually long code to get anywhere , kind of gets irritating. The ski in ski out is on the fifth floor in the building next to this one. You take elevator to fifth floor and get to the slopes by walking down hallway until you get to a bridge/corridor linking the buildings and continue down the next hallway until you come to the end. Right outside the door is "corridor run". You access the main lodge by skiing down corridor run and zypher chair lift is right in front of you. Great location to slopes with 2 awsome hot tubs and heated pools, my kids and I swam in the pool while it was snowing. There is a nice work out room but I was there to ski and never used it. Access to corridor run is from the mary jane side of the hill, you have to be able to ski blue intermediate runs to access corridor run. This condo worked perfectly for our family of 4. The ski in ski out functionality was very convenient, as was the parking garage. The unit was very clean and had everything we needed. This is a well-appointed and especially well-stocked unit--little extras, such as cooking spices, you wouldn't normally expect. A small balcony overlooks a parking lot but also views the mountain, although no ski runs. Cozy but by no means small. If just a couple is staying it's rather spacious, and can easily accommodate a small family or third friend if you don't mind sharing a bathroom, which is conveniently divided between the sink/vanity and toilet/tub areas. Lots of hooks and storage for your clothes, coats and ski gear. Close to the elevator but no elevator noise. Nice hot tubs and pool. The resort is truly ski-in (at the end of the day you can even ski down the sled hill to Building C, which is where the unit is located), but ski-out entails some work (gearing up in the 5th floor ski lobby then trying to keep up your speed on the Corridor run to Zephyr Express). There is also a Winter Park shuttle bus stop at the resort that goes to town. If you don't make it to the Mary Jane run by the end of the day to ski in, it will take you right to Building C. Bill, the owner, was very responsive to any questions we had and seemed eager to make sure our stay was enjoyable. He processed our security deposit refund very promptly. Overall, especially for the price, this is a great unit in a great location with a great owner--an exceptional value!Recommended for: Families with teenagers, adventure seekers, age 55+, romantic getaway, sightseeing, families with young children.

We really enjoyed our stay at the Iron Horse and Winter Park. The condo was very clean and met all of our needs! The ski in/ski out convenience was awesome!Recommended for: Tourists without a car, families with teenagers, adventure seekers, age 55+, romantic getaway, girls getaway, people with disabilities, families with young children.

Great location, very close to the elevator in the same building with the pool! The condo is beautiful, great kitchen, bathroom , furniture..etc. The Iron Horse was great with warm pool and great hot tubs that were never crowded- In fact most days we had it to ourselves! The only comment I had was the only DVD player was in the bedroom. Would have been nice to watch our movie in the living room. Other than that, everything was great. Thanks again!Recommended for: Tourists without a car, families with teenagers, adventure seekers, age 55+, romantic getaway, people with disabilities, families with young children.

This condo was perfect for our family of three. The unit is in great shape, and it's well stocked with necessities. We loved the fact that we could walk to the Winter Park shops and restaurants while paying a VERY reasonable summer rate. The resort isn't very busy in the summer, but we actually really liked that fact because it made our stay private and peaceful.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, adventure seekers, romantic getaway, sightseeing, families with young children.

I've been back several times and am never disappointed! The condo is comfortable and looks/feels like a home away from home. The hot tubs are always a hit and the easy access to downtown Winter Park is wonderful. Great restaurants. Especially recommend the Jane Creek Grill at the Ironhorse for yummy food and convenience. Fabulous restaurants from one end of town to the other. Check out Sushi, Mirasol as well as Fontenot's. Mary Jane is old-school Colorado skiing at its best. We had such a wonderful stay at your property! The skiing could not be more convenient with the ski-in ski-out accessiblity but to top it off, the ammenities were amazing!
