Very Nice Cabin

Very nice cabin! Probably the cleanest cabin we have rented! I usually feel like I need to clean rentals upon arrival...but, not here. We are a family of six and had plenty of room. Comfortable beds and plenty of linens provided. Nice outside porches and views. I would second the previous reviewer...the walk to the river is challenging! Now, we were here in November so the path and steps were covered in wet leaves. Which I'm sure added to the difficultly. But, regardless it is very steep and would be difficult for a lot of older adults and small children. We only ventured down once. Did all of our fishing elsewhere. Lots of good places for fishing and hiking close by. Overall though, very nice place to stay!!!

Spacious, nicely-decorated home

We thoroughly enjoyed our weekend in this beautifully decorated home. We cooked all our meals and found the kitchen to be fully equipped with nice dishes, cookware, and utensils. The home is quite spacious with two very large bedrooms and a moderately sized third bedroom (double bed). The master bedroom (king bed) is upstairs with a private bath, private screened deck, ceiling fan, and lots of floor space. The second bedroom (queen bed), accessible from a private entrance, is also quite large with plenty of room for sleeping bags or a port-a-crib. The second and third bedrooms share a bath downstairs. Both bathrooms have a tub/shower. The living/dining/kitchen area was also quite large and inviting. The walk to the river was good exercise; partly steep, but quite manageable even with an infant. The property was clean and well-maintained; we would definitely recommend this property to others.

Beautiful Spacious Cabin

This was quite a large cabin -- plenty of room for a couple of families or couples to get away for a long weekend or week's vacation. The property is well-maintained and has a charming personality. The view and sounds from the back deck overlooking the mountains was wonderful. Our family also loved the seclusion -- there are only mountain/wood views. It should be noted that the property does border the river; however, there is not a view from the cabin and it is a very long, challenging walk down to the river -- although worth the walk. Would be very difficult on elders or families with very small infants/toddlers. Once down there, great place for a picnic or just a peaceful place to sit and enjoy the presence of your loved ones.
