Recently restored to the highest quality, Casanova is a deluxe country house in the beautiful Val D’Orcia in the South-Eastern part of the Siena province in Tuscany.

This is a region of famous wines, medieval hill towns, Renaissance art treasures, castles, monasteries and spa towns with healing water already enjoyed in the Roman times.

Its location is ideal for visiting many interesting sites at a short distance: Pienza, the ideal city, is just 10 minutes away, 15 minutes to Montepulciano. Under one hour drive to Montalcino, Siena, Perugia, Orvieto and Cortona. One and half hours to Firenze and two hours to Rome.

The house sleeps 16 adults in comfort with eight double bedrooms and seven bathrooms. Elegantly furnished living areas open out to the aia for dining al fresco and to stunning views over the valley.

The aia is surrounded by low walls planted with climbing roses and flowering vines. On one side there is the entrance and an open area, on the other side is a huge swimming pool.

This farming area has beautiful walking and biking paths, cypress lined country roads and easy access to the local town for fresh food from the markets and the local delicacies of the dozens of restaurant all within 30 minutes drive.

The high quality interiors include many antiques and period pieces, very skillfully decorated and combined with comfortable seating to make the villa feel like a home.

On the ground floor is the spacious full equipped kitchen the laundry room with a washing machine and freezer, and a full bath. Is a living room with satellite TV and where is possible to listen music and a beautiful room called winter garden, with beautiful plants, a billiard an three windows with an excellent views across the valley. On the first level is a study another kitchen and four bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms. On the second level there are two bedrooms with four single beds an one bathroom open to the hallway. Another room is on the other side of the aia. This room have a comfortable double bed and a private bathroom with shower. Besides this room there is a sauna and a gymnasium.
