Why the Owner Chose Bozeman

This property is home to two rescued horses, three rescued cats and two much-loved English labradors.

The Unique Benefits at this Country House / Chateau

While staying at I Love This Place! you can enjoy the fantastic views, the solitude and quiet of living at the "end of the road", the lovely flowers and you can eat from the organic vegetable garden. There is a hammock situated under the shade trees and lots of different outside living areas to enjoy.

Owner's Map of Bozeman

When I purchased my house in Bozeman, it was our Summer home. I bought it for the fantastic views and the solitude of being at the "end of the road" overlooking the rest of the world. After living here full time since 2005, I decided to turn my "caretaker cottage" into a guest house so that others could share this special spot.

South Carolina loves this place!

We have rented this wonderful cabin for four years -- we're up to staying for a month. If we could swing it we would never leave. It is heaven for us. The cabin is perfectly appointed. It is well supplied, comfortable, beautiful linens on comfortable beds, views to die for. The first night we stayed there we sat on the porch and watched a thunder storm roll across the valley before us and was rewarded with a full rainbow. That was our introduction to I Love This Place. It just keeps getting better. My husband loves to fish and the Gallatin is just down the road. He's there almost every day. The Bozeman Hot Springs is just down the road. Patti has given us great tips on things to do -- my favorite is the drive down the road to cross Ted Turners ranch to get to the Spanish Creek trailhead.. I am already dreaming about being there this summer.

Owner response:Thanks Mike and Sarah. We really enjoy having you every year, especially people who so appreciate this special spot.

We had so many wonderful thoughts and memories of our trip that there was no way for me to express myself in your guest book before we left. My family and I had a wonderful time at your guest home. The name truly does say it all. You pay such attention to all the small details that make a person feel at home. My boys had the time of their lives and often say they want to move to your place and be cowboys. We can't thank you enough for your hospitality and we are looking forward to another visit in the near future.

ABSOLUTELY PERFECT

Date of Stay: 06/21/11 Review Submitted: 07/06/11

I wish I could keep this little gem of a place a secret, but in fairness to Patti and Meredith, I must share our great experience. We came to escape the 100+ degree heat of Dallas and were greeted with 70 degree breezes, a beautifully decorated home and two of the nicest people I have ever met. The only thing we had to worry with was food and activities. There is simply nothing wanting in this comfortable place. The kitchen is stocked with every imaginable pot, dish, utinsel, appliance you could need. I felt as if I were in my own kitchen. The bedrooms were both cozy and comfortable, with designer covers and warm down comforters. Cannot count the number of VRBO's we've rented the past 10 years. . .this was by far the very best. But, enough about the house. . . .the views are to die for. 360 degrees, porches and chairs all around.High enough to see the valley, mountains and experience the cool rains and amazing rainbows. Though not big horse people, we loved feeding/petting Daisy and Chief and they soon learned that when we were outside, there would be treats. What a great experience. Patti and Meredith are terrific hosts and "at the ready" if you should need ANYTHING. Thank you both for a wonderful 10 days. We hated to leave but we will definitely return.

Owner response:Two of our most appreciative guests.

The Perfect Montana Getaway

Guest: Bryce (Columbus, OH)
Date of Stay: 07/27/10 Review Submitted: 08/04/10

We had the best stay last week at I Love This Place. My dad, brother, and I stayed for five days and were thrilled with the house inside and out. It was the perfect place to crash after traveling through Yellowstone or fishing all day. The house was immaculate. The furniture and beds were incredibly comfortable. The kitchen was decked out with all the amenities you could hope for, including a Weber gas grill (outside) that we used several times. We cooked most of our breakfasts and dinners, which we enjoyed at the table on the large front porch, while overlooking the gallatin valley. The views are truly spectacular, especially for watching afternoon storms and subsequent full rainbows. Beyond the beautiful house and surrounding views, Patti and Meredith were incredible hosts. We were treated to fresh greens from their garden everyday. They were very helpful with everything from giving directions to recommendations on day trips and fishing guides. Their dogs (Boze Man and Daisy) and horses (Chief and Lizzy) were friendly, fun, and completed the whole experience. The location for us was perfect. We had the remote feeling we were looking for and yet were close to Bozeman (~15 minutes) and Big Sky (~30 minutes), which both have a lot to offer in regards to restaurants, stores, etc. We love the Lone Peak Brewery in Big Sky, which has very good food (lunch/dinner) and excellent beers. We also really liked the Main Street Overeasy in downtown Bozeman for breakfast or lunch. Most importantly, world class fly fishing from two different access bridges on the Gallatin River were less than five minutes away. All in all, I really can't say enough good things about our experience. I've stayed at quite a few VRBO places, many of which have been very nice. For comfort, amenities, scenery, location, hosts, and overall value, I don't think you can beat this place. It was an abolutely wonderful visit we'll look back on with fond memories, and we can't wait to stay there again.

Owner response:We at I Love this Place! are always happy when our guests enjoy themselves as much as our last guests. We always try to provide the best experience possible, and it looks like it's succeeding.

I want to start by thanking Patti for a wonderful stay. The house was in perfect condition and the view is unbelieveable! Being there in late March, we experienced the "Montana Spring" in all it's beauty. 60 degrees and sunny Monday night ... 6 inches of snow and 20 degrees Tuesday morning. I would highly recommend staying here if you ever get a chance.
