Cordillera is an exclusive gated community just west of Vail and Beaver Creek ski resorts, with four superb golf courses and six excellent dining facilities. Minutes to shopping, alternate restaurants, theater, and endless outdoor activities.
This four bedroom luxury "cabin" is situated above the sixteenth fairway of the Hale Irwin-designed Mountain Course, which is groomed as the area's premier Nordic ski facility in the winter. It is close to the world-class RockResorts Lodge and Spa at Cordillera, with its nearby charming Irish pub, Grouse on the Green. Cordillera is also home to the Fazio-designed Valley Course, the 9 hole Dave Pelz Short Course and training facility, and the Summit Course, a Nicholas Signature experience at an altitude of 9100 feet. Each course is distinctly different than the others, and all are first-class experiences on a par with the USA's best.
This beautiful, two-story home features two gas log fireplaces, an extended main level deck with gas grill and heat lamps, hot tub, two Great Rooms, and a children's playroom. The main level Great Room, with its vaulted ceiling, fireplace with stone hearth, and billiards table, is open to the large kitchen and dining area to provide an excellent environment for entertaining. The dining area seats eight comfortably. The fully-equipped kitchen has expansive granite counters, a large central island workspace, and double ovens. The master suite features a queen-size bed, a sitting area, large private bath with Jacuzzi tub, separate shower, twin vanities, a walk-in closet, and a secluded private deck. Also on the upper level is a large study, with a desk and comfortable seating for readers.
On the lower level, you will find a spacious, casual Great Room equipped with TV and DVD/VCR, gas fireplace, large wet bar area, three additional large bedrooms with queen beds and private baths, and a large children's playroom. One bedroom has a private exit to the hot tub, and spacious bath; one has a private exit to a covered deck adjacent to the garden pond.
