We have a private lanai at this accommodation, 180 degree view of great surf, sunsets, whales in season, rainbows; this is definitely not for those bothered by the sound of the surf!
Sitting directly on the beach, only 3 miles from Wailea, and 9 miles from the airport, you have a great location with lots of beaches, golf courses, shops, restaurants, snorkel, surfing, fishing, and activities nearby. Year Purchased: 2005
We have been married 40 years and have had a place in Kona for many years. Loving the ocean, we decided it would be great to go from the high surf of Kona (VRBO 6909) with all the lava rock, to the quiet sandy beaches of Maui. Kihei is a perfect spot, looking out to Molokini and Lanai, watching whales in winter, and enjoying the sunsets. We'd love to share our place with you.
Why the Owner Chose Menehune Shores
Menehune Shores was built in the 70's, when they allowed building close to the water. So many places are far back, or across roads, but not this one! We feel at home with nature when visiting here. Very close to shopping, airport, art galleries, farmer's markets, just very convenient.
