This clean, attractive, well-located apartment had everything we needed for our stay in Barcelona, and then some. It is near the Metro, one of the easiest metros to use in the world. The kitchen is well-equipped, the bed in the master bedroom is comfortable (we didn't use the other bedroom) and there's plenty of hot water for long relaxing showers. Although we were only two, this apartment would also be great for two couples who don't mind sharing a bathroom or for a couple with children. The management office is right around the corner from the property and the managers were very friendly and helpful. There is a lift, which is convenient for getting luggage to and from the second floor location. We were very happy with our experience and will stay at this property again when we return to Barcelona.

Frederick was very helpful before our stay, answering e-mails, etc.-how to get there-details, etc. As soon as we arrived, Mirela assisted us with map, directions, restaurant recommendations, taxi details for departure and more. She walked us to apartment which was just around corner. She assisted us with how to use all appliances, tv, heater, etc. Directed us to local grocery store, bakery, etc. Very friendly and took time to explain, make us feel comfortable and very gracious. The apartment was very comfortable-spacious-clean-contemporary- and nice place to come back and relax after sight seeing. Very quiet and away from traffic. A little different from photo-only one brown couch vs. couch and chair-although still very comfortable. The area is very safe and in walking distance or one metro stop of La Sagrada Familia-we enjoyed the options of walking or metro and liked the neighborhood area away from touristy area. Several local restaurants nearby that they recommended which were excellent. We had some Internet trouble, but went to office and Frederick instantly let us use computer and assisted us. They were cell phone call away even on a holiday. Overall, a very pleasant stay! Highly recommend!

My sister, daughter and I stayed here Aug. 2011. We found it a good place to stay, clean, comfortable and quiet. The wifi was slow my only complaint. If you are wanting to do some beach time closer would be better. It was close to the Metro and we had no problems finding our way around. We would come again. 3 girls from Minnesota/USA

I will be sad to leave Barcelona tomorrow. This is a magnificent city with a proud history, lovely people and delicious food. This apartment went above and beyond the call and duty and I would definitely stay here again. Though I didn’t drink from the famed water fountain on this trip, I do hope to come back to Barcelona. Since friends are here, It’s a definite possibility. Me gusta Barça. Adios

We are a family of 3 from mineapolis, MN, USA here for a week. We were surprised at how spacious, clean and quiet the apartment is and that there is plenty of hot water. Great location by Sagrada Familia + the metro. We had some trouble adjusting the local time. Our hours at home are breakfast at 6am, lunch at noon and dinner at 5.30pm. Here breakfast is at 10am, lunch at 3pm and dinner at 9pm. Anyway we went to la rambla, Barri gotic, Palau Nacional + MMAC, casa batlló, parc Guell and the best day - a trip to montserrat on the metro + train: spectacular.

Dear Frederic & Carmen, Thank you for your lovely apartment. It is prettiest & better decorated than our own home. More than anything, we have enjoyed your recommendation of restaurants & tapas bars tremendously. L’oliva was friendly and offered us something we never have in the US. All you can drink wine out of a bottle which is included in the 12€ lunch formule. “7 portes” was worth the wait. I am salivating just thinking about it. “La Piazzenza” had us in tears. Everything was delicious and flavorful and we just came from Paris. Barcelona has definitely won us over with its great food, great cava, and last but not the least, great people. We have met people who offered to take pictures for us when we took out our camera, who pointed the way when we looked perplexed over our map and people who exhausted their English vocabulary for us when it’s us who should know more Spanish & Catalan. We are coming back for sure for the food, for this beautiful apartment ad for the beautidul mediteranean and it’s people. Thank you again. Los angeles. USA.

This listing is not a true and accurate accounting of the ammenities you'll find in this rental. We rented this apartment for a few nights, and fully expected what was promised in this listing. When we arrived, we began to notice that several items did not work. As we went on in our vacation time, we had to deal with a broken refrigerator, several broken outlets, tv, air conditioning, microwave and questionable internet. Also, after two days we lost hot water in the shower..there was never any hot water coming out of the sink. The food we bought for the refrigerator spoiled, we roasted during the night, and could not properly cook what we had planned to make. There was supposed to be a washing machine, which we were promptly told there was not upon our arrival. It was an overall very bad experience. I would think twice before renting this space...or at least make sure everything is in working order before you hand over your money.
Owner response:I’m sorry to what happened to that client but he is giving a fake version of what really happened. First thing, we rent that apartment from 2005 with vrbo and never had problems of that king with our clients. We have an office located at 1mn and give a personal service to the clients during their stay if needed. When we did the check-in with that client all was working perfectly, if not the client would have complained at the same moment of the check-in. In a few words the client is telling that all the electrical devices are not functioning in the apartment and that's a complete non sense. All is working perfectly, the only thing is due to an overuse from them, the security system switched off one of the thermal magnetic. We would have solved the problem in 20 seconds but when we wanted to go to the apartment they didn't permit us to enter because one person was taking a shower and then when they contacted us again it was already 9pm at night and of course the office was closed at that time. The next day we sent them a message asking them when it was possible to come to the apartment and didn’t receive an answer. We also wait them at the office all day long and nobody came. As they had just a 3 nights booking, they left the apartment the next day without paying us and without telling us nothing else. Finally 2 months ago we had an agreement and they paid only half of the stay.

Thank you ! Having such a convenient and comfortable place to stay during our week in Barcelona was lovely. We used the subway to see some of the city’s best sites. The Sagrada Familia was a favorite (be sure to take the lift and a camera).

Thank you so much for the assistance to settle in the apartment. We enjoyed the comfort and relaxed atmosphere. This is the best of the apartments we have had on our trip in Europe. Close to the metro, quiet and excellent deco. We enjoyed the artwork especially. The food to buy at the small shops is amazing. Best Regards.
