Sheltered patio with BBq and summer dining terrace - Uzes, Languedoc-Roussillon, France Historic Vacation Rental "Les Hauts de St Siffret" is an extremely charming village house in the heart of the old village of St Siffret at just 5 minutes from Uzes. Built on 3 floors, it has been restored with care, combining modern comfort with traditional charm. On the lower level is the well-equipped kitchen leading one side on to the lounge/dining room with a wood burner and opening on to the pretty patio garden, where there is a summer dining area next to the BBQ. On the 1st floor is the living room ,opening on to the open terrace where a small pool has cleverly been installed and extremely welcome after a busy day visiting Provence. One double bedroom has a little balcony looking on to the church tower plus another twin bedded room both share a shower room & wc. A pretty minstrel's gallery harbours a double bed with its own en suite bathroom & wc. On the 2nd floor is another double bedroom with en suite bathroom & wc with lovely views over the terracotta tiled rooves of St Siffret. An ideal base for visiting all of Provence being at just a short drive from Uzes and the Pont du Gard, 1 hour away from both Avignon, the papal city and Nimes with its Roman remains and all the wonderful surrounding countryside with local markets and tiny villages to discover. Ideal out of season even for long stays with the welcome wood burner and full electrical heating .
