If you are looking for a high quality home in Alpine Meadows, this is it! Built in 2002 and roughly 2,700 square feet, this Tahoe vacation rental is sure to please. The house is very well furnished with choice mountain style décor, including a large dining table, new beds, comfy linens, and TVs in every bedroom. Perhaps the best thing about this house is the location… it is easy to get to, central to both Alpine Meadows & Squaw Valley. In the winter, guests can avoid the sometimes crowded parking lot at Alpine Meadows Ski Area and walk to the community shuttle stop (less than 100 yrds away). During the summer months, the house is center to world class hiking and mountain biking. The Truckee River is close by for river rafting, kayaking, and fishing. The bike path is about a mile and a half away, where you can travel North to the Village at Squaw Valley, or South to Tahoe City, the beaches of Lake Tahoe, and beyond.

Owner has a dog. Well behaved, well traveled dogs are allowed on a case by case basis only. Alpine Meadows gets a TON OF SNOW. Guests should be well prepared for winter driving; 4wd is always suggested.Driveway may be considered a bit steep. Firewood is technically not provided, however guests are welcome to use whatever wood may be present. Although we say this house sleeps 10, the twin over full bunk beds could stretch the capacity to 12 for the appropriate group.

This is a spacious, very clean and very well-appointed mountain-style home with high-end finishes. It has very comfortable, essentially new, furniture. It is located in a neighborhood of similarly styled and new appearing homes adjacent to the alpine Meadows ski resort. Its a 4 minute drive to the resort parking lot, or you can pick up the resort's shuttle by walking a couple hundred feet to the end of the street. Driving to central Tahoe City takes about 10 minutes. Notable attributes of the home include radiant heat, sauna (in the master bath, which also includes a double shower and extra large double vanity) and hot tub. The large open kitchen with high-end appliances lent itself well to making dinner for 6 adults and 6 children every night. The dining area and living room areas were very comfortable. The hillside backyard was great for sledding with the little kids after a fresh snowfall.

We had a family reunion and used this house as our base for gatrherings and dining. It was well equipped and a great place for our family. We recommend it to anyone.

We rented the Pine Trail house for eight days in March to celebrate my 50th birthday. Everything about the house was perfect and far exceeded my expectations. A very well maintained home with tasteful furniture, very comfortable beds, ample storage for ski equipment and personal gear. We especially loved how the warm floors kept us cozy and dried out the ski gear. Our family and friends also love to cook and found the kitchen very well stocked and easy to use. The Tahoe Getaway staff was also very helpful with all my questions and all my requests were handled very professionally and timely. The location of the house is very convenient to Alpine Meadows, Squaw and Tahoe City. We were very glad to have a 4 wheel drive vehicle for the driveway, as it is a bit steep and slippery with all the snow that fell this week. I would definitely recommend this house and would rent it again. Thank you.

Despite the best efforts of the forces of nature to ruin our family ski vacation, we had a great time in a very practical family house. Well appointed and looked after. We had 8ft of snow in 4days! And were extremely grateful for the excellent snow removal service.

We couldn't have asked for a more perfect ski cabin and location. The cabin is very high-end down to the heated floors, hot tub and sauna and extremely well-equipped kitchen. All the beds were super comfortable. The place was so spacious - we didn't feel the least bit crowded with our group of 12 people. I loved not having the forced air heating which always makes the air so dry in most ski cabins. It took literally 3 minutes to drive to Alpine Meadows. There is a ski shuttle that stops on the corner but with small kids we drove. We hope to rent this cabin next season!
