Beautiful two-bedroom, two-bath, Cowboy-inspired bunkroom, 1200 square foot, Spanish style home in Borrego Springs, California.
This home is fully furnished and equipped. We are located on the new Signature Tom Fazio designed golf course at the 4th hole with views stretching from the tee to the green, including a beautiful lake in the center of the fairway. There is a fireplace, dining area with large patio overlooking the golf course which is complete with an outside dining area, BBQ, and a beautiful view of the Anza-Borrego mountains, home to the Peninsula Big Horn Sheep. The interior laundry room is complete with washer and dryer and fully stocked with detergent and cleaning aids.
There are 3 separate mountain ranges which add a dramatic back drop to this romantic, inspiring and private setting. The panoramic view of Indian Head and the Anza-Borrego National Park from the master bed, living room and patio set the mood for your getaway. Relax and enjoy mother nature all around you in an area once the playground of the movie stars of the 40s and the many in the know who have been escaping here for the past 80 years. It is now the playground for those who like to enjoy nature in the Anza-Borrego State Park, play golf, or lounge around the two pools. There are also two beautiful tennis courts. Each day provides a new opportunity to enjoy the many outdoor activities available in Borrego Springs.
The spacious master bedroom with a king sized bed has a large walk-in closet, telescope, cable TV with DVD player and desert inspired decorations along with a large oval tub deep enough for 2 and an oversized tiled shower. Wake in the morning to the light illuminating the mountains through the master bedroom windows. There is direct access to the large patio overlooking the golf course from this room.
The guest bedroom, with a queen sized bed, is separate and private. There is cable TV, a desk area and a shared full bathroom. The decor is warm and inviting and the sliding glass door faces an interior courtyard.
In addition, you will find a 3rd bedroom in the tiled, finished garage with its own cooling system. This Cowboy Room is designed for the younger crew and is decorated with vintage western posters, cowboy boots, hat and pistol and books the young ones can enjoy. Their imaginations will go back in time to the Wild West.
The Sante Fe neighborhood of Montesoro Resort has a gorgeous recreation center within walking distance with a full lap pool (heated to 82 degrees) a large family pool, multiple BBQs , bathrooms with showers, 2 pristine tennis courts and a hot and cold jacuzzi. There is also the new Dog Park close by on the property.
Take full advantage of all the activities available such as golf, swimming, tennis, hiking, biking, trail running and more. Visit the Anza-Borrego State park Visitor Center for information on wildflower views, monthly organized hikes, lectures and naturalist programs. You may also choose to explore on your own the hundreds of stunning hiking trails in order to view the outstanding wildlife and desert flora. The off-road vehicle activity area of Ocotillo Wells is close by. Two casinos and the historic mining town of Julian are a short 30 minute drive away. Or simply enjoy the quiet, peaceful, rejuvenating setting with expansive views while you relax on the patio or by the 2 pools. Borrego Springs is the perfect place for a Triathlete or any athlete. There are endless bicycle opportunities, free of cars and stoplights. There are also numerous running trails as well as an uncrowded lap pool.
